Which to try first?

I was wondering which of the following scenarios I should try first:

The Fourth Age Total War

or

Middle Earth: Total War?

I don't want to hear any "why don't you just get Empire Total War?". I'll tell you why, because my video card is nowhere near strong enough to handle it.

Also afaik there are no LOTR mods for Empires.

I've played the 4th Age, though not the most recent version, I liked it. Havn't played the other one.

I'd say go for fourth age, since it has a playable (without having to tamper) campaign

Another vote for the Fourth Age, but I've not played the other which may be as good or better. Anyhow, this one played well enough. I'm always wanting more and better graphics and AI, but this was sufficient.

I played Fourth Age, and, though decent, isn't as good as EB in terms of actually playing.
