Hey, I'm no /b/tard!

...well, maybe a closet one. ;)

The Fox NEws Anonymous thing was hilarious. ++ ***** and ED and Snipeme

On a NES note, who here has predictions for the Birdnes update

Scandal in genoa - gay marriage and attempted babymaking rocks monarchies. Pope excommuncates Dorias, Europe erupts in chaos.

I have a feeling about the Treaty of Alexandria ;)

it could be the treaty of Lisbon ;).

anyways, go back to your anti-portugal scheming, and I will go back to my AFRICAN POWER schemes.

I happen to have two TPs in Africa, you see my concern? :p

don't worry, the americas, asia, and oceania give you more than enough. :p.

But seriously, you have my word that my African Power does not involve conquering two TPs that until this moment I forgot existed.

Yes, but I'm sure my dear friends abaddon and perfectionist have not forgotten :p

I know how dear they are to you, and how close you must be, to spend all the time in the world thinking about Portugal and Ethiopia.

The Jew in Khmer has gone to your head. Not in every generation is someone out to get you.

He IS our Prime Minister and Head of the Regency Council. It is quite nice to have a character IC wise who's just as paranoid if not more so than yourself OOC wise :D

If it makes you feel better, I also spend equally long amounts of time thinking about Bengal, China, Japan, Genoa, the Incans, and various other Indian states and little tribal Kingdoms in Polynesia.

why yes it does. europe will wind up being the death of you. in fact, it shall be spain!

by suicide, of course

Bengal has better things to do than steal your Spice Islands breaking your monopoly over them, and cutting off your Australian colonies from your mainland while simultaneously driving you out of Burma.....

I'm going to enjoy watching you all butcher one another in Europe.

Or, as it were, all butcher one. ;)

That said, brothers-in-conspiracy... which one of you betrayed us first? :p

Nah, I'm fairly confident it will be reciprocal. The idea of NESers all ganging up together against one side when the benefits are obvious is too far-fetched to believe, and a few will for some reason or another choose the massively outnumbered side, and do a disproportionate amount of damage before dying.

Plus, I don't put too high of odds on the whole of Europe being able to kill France, given a roughly as skilled assemblage couldn't do the same in DisNES2. Darkening isn't silver... but then again silver wasn't particularly silver right then either.

All makes for a nice distraction at any rate.

We shall have to wait and see, though I have faith that we could, at least, open two more fronts this turn.

I'd also argue that silver was at his silverest back then (his sheer destructiveness is certainly something ~Darkening~ couldn't hope to replicate), and his enemies got distracted a lot. Ofcourse, he also faced an unified HRE amongst other things... Meh. In the end, I think it's worth a try.

He was destructive, yes, and very good at manipulating his enemies at that particular time, but there wasn't particularly much genocide or mass murder (it was more clean warfare than one would have expected, though still very brutal) and the move of turning over most of what was left of France to Britain instead of crashing and burning was unexpected. It was more efficient and devious than usual, so I see it as something of an exception, if not also a highlight.

I seem to recall silver devastating Flanders and northern Aragon pretty thoroughly back then, though.

At any rate, he got way too many lucky breaks back then, largely thanks to JosefStalinator. As long as Kal'thzar doesn't support France we are going to do fine, IMHO.
