I also missed the 11th level, I was way out there on some obscure towns in Australia netting me 0 points (+ some time bonus) on two questions. Total score 494 996. Will try again.

RE: betting pool,

After getting through the first 80 American entries I can say (with certainty) that the final result will be around 1.5x to 2.0x the current number of 389 entries. So, an estimate of around 600-750/808 possible entries isn't out of the question.

Anybody like the idea of "Commemorative Showcases" of each continent when it's Semi-Finale? I figure it might help rile support to finish getting the Blocks checked off...

Well, only one place on level 11 was recycled. Australia was really my nemesis all over, that and strange pacific islands. To place a totally unknown town in Azerbaijan is just so much easier than placing a semi well-known town anywhere in Australia. Heck, I would get less points for Sydney than for Baku any day, simply because of the distances involved.

Though I'm proud I got within 3 km of Guangzhou first try.
