Masada's Bet: I bet Obama will fall back on Keynes to right the economy. The problem will be he will do exactly what the great Keynesian FDR did, and not be anything or do anything of the sort.
Don't ever let FDR be put up on a Keynesian pedestal, he tried to run balanced budgets, and to reduce government debt, his expenditure was not expansionary, he just increased taxes to offset spending. It was not inline with Keynes, and Keynes even remonstrated FDR a number of times for not running a deficit. Expect to see Obama pull an FDR on the whole thing.
Not that I see a massive stimulus package as all that likely to plaster over an institutional problem.... kind of like giving grog to banks already plastered.

Ah but it seems that you think once again I actually care what you think of me, funny. Most people I speak to on MSN find me quite courteous, if with a sometimes quirky humour that is not to everyone's taste. You are remembering what I was from 2 years ago.
Oh but if it was a simulationist game I could then justify it as saying there is no way the Republicans would of won.... I would be proven right too... Symphony just because you have sour grapes doesnt mean that you should bring things up that happened over two years ago.......... Yes I encourage wars in my nes sometimes, it makes things more enjoyable for most, however you will note that out of the some 200 countries in the nes you cite there was a very small percentage of those countries which actually united.
You also fail to remember I was the mod and when you left I did what I thought the USA would do.... Remember that you left right after the update and quite frankly recent events have shown that I was right to do that for your much vaunted realism. In short I wasnt anti-American (I am anti-Bush btw not anti-American per se) I was anti-you and I realised soon after that nes started, my biggest mistake was allowing you to play as you just cant follow instructions on orders with you incessant descriptions which were actually asked to not happen, AND the fact that you cant take a simple no for an answer without debating the reasoning behind it which when you are running a nes of 30 people you dont want to have to deal with. You are probably the most annoying player I have ever had the misfortune to mod for.
As for the other things you 'accuse' me of, yeah I allowed that... Its a nes after all, and I do like things to be exciting rather than super-realistic like yourself, so diffrence of opinion.
Notice I dont attack you, unless you attack me... Notice I disagree with a lot of what you say, but this does not make necessarily a bad influence, just a different one. To not be able to accept diffrences is a sign of bigtory....
Perhaps you should worry about that some. As for my modding, I have quite a few people who say otherwise, but noone is forcing you join my nes or read it.. so kindly keep your opinions to yourself.
The rest of it you just keep bringing up because seriously you have nothing new to talk about... Grow up mate, most people dont care, I have apologised to those who felt hurt by any actions I have taken in the past, although I cant think of one person that has come to me and said I was hurt or anything along those lines, and most of what you do refer to is well into the past as well, you need to learn to give up those grudges. So much wasted energy!
The point of the matter is that noone has at anytime asked you to make that correcting weather you feel the need to or not. The fact is that its not the correcting that causes problems, its the arrogant and snide ways that you go about achieving it. Just because someone is wrong in a matter does not give you the right to talk down to them. As for being a good player, well I am not particuarly worried about winning or anything along those lines, so long as I have fun, I am getting what I want from nesing.
And once again keep your opinions to yourself, what you are writing is a clear example of slander. Oh and as I have been nesing for longer than you, (even with time off) I aint going anywhere and to think that your continued attacks will make me think otherwise is just a fallacy and wasted effort.

Yeah well I made a mistake and forgot that after America died the world went crazy with warfare..... but it was 2 years ago, and I am both impressed and appalled that you actually remember this cr@p, I mean do you have a directory of all neses or do you just have very lax social life and this is what you do for kicks? I am sorry with a wife, 3 kids and other committments I just dont have the time to devote to remembering stuff that once again happened 2 years ago on a forum where the average life of a nes is about 6 weeks (from what I have seen as of late).
Oh btw nice skirting the points which I made which shed some light on your actions that led me to take the actions in that nes I did....... Love how you just ignore anything that fits into your neat little reality... Good luck with that one!
Man didnt Iran grow, I forgot how well did the other players did in that nes, probably because they wrote sensible orders not essays and when I told them they couldnt do something they didnt argue, just accepted it or gave me proof as to I was wrong and let me make the decision from that.... yeah sorry Symphony but when I run a nes of that many players I am not going to have the time to put up with the inane stupid cr@p you bombarded me with.

Sh!t happens, I keep trying and hell I have had moderate success.... The point is that I learn from failure and move on, I dont tend to dwell on it. It of course doesnt help when you have some douche players making things more difficult however...
Yeah in hindsight I probably with that nes tried to bite off more than i could chew in sheer numbers of countries.... After that the mere 50 I have in my current one is a walk in the park in comparison.
