Interesting links though. It's also amusing to see the human fascination of animals resembling humans in any way.

I can count two or three serious cliques so far (also, one silly clique), maybe four if we count the FFH people as a separate clique; at least two of the basic cliques intersect a lot, actually, hence my uncertainty between 2 or 3.

Anyway, we mostly have the Elitariate, its self-declared opponents and the sometimes-allies sometimes-enemies. A lot of people (the technical majority, but not necessarily the active majority, in fact almost definitely not) are naturally in "the swamp", as the French revolutionaries say. Is that what you meant, Chicken-What-Flies?

Stance-wisely, I used to be alot against NESing Elitism [tm] until realizing that I at least held my nose higher than OT - and that I still do quite a lot. I always welcome new players though (Also morans) because I think that most people should have a chance as well as I believe the NESing Forum should be more open to new people. We are open, but a very few people show up once in a while.

Socially, I don't know how close I am with people in here. I know I have an (unsaid) number of buddies, or at least people I like more than others. And I really don't dislike anyone in here.

I much rather prefer the idea of having a humongous force come into an NES when one player has gained a great amount of power and has kept it for a while. Shakes up the established order, and all that. Eventaully both forces kill each other, and everyone is back to step one.
