I love the music! Ancient sounds great in the afternoon when I start a game, and the modern era music always sounds great around 7 AM when I reach the modern era. I think the hypnotic music is definitely part of the compulsive civ experience.

I've played Civ3 since it ame out, and around Christmas I got tired of the music. Hence, WinAmp is always open when I play.
