i noticed one of the Admins off the 'civfanatics ladder staff' is woke23... however he is not part of anyof the others, and i have never seen him around. suggestions?

Yea - Woke23 is one of the main forces behind the Civladder and he works quite a lot on it - the reason he is a mod, is because the Forum is related to the Ladder!
I think the reason you don't see all that much to him, is because he uses most of his time on the ladder - working and improving it!

i actually spend lots of time in these forums. only i do not post all that much, since (no offense) the level/degree of civ2 discussion is far too low. its better in apolyton. Still, i like this place more, since it seems to be more friendly then apolyton. Civ fanatics is fresh, new, revolutionair. apolyton is old, people are bored there.
It's true, i do stuff for our ladder. i handle disputes, set rules and have contact with the coder of our ladder of what should take priority in the ladder improvement. In effort, most work is done by our coder Trajan, but he doesnt like to show his face in the forums or take credit for his actions, so mostly i get the credits for what he does

Who is Woke23? (or is it 24 now?) I know this guy from when he was Woke21 or something, and then species8947, or whatever that number was. But to say who is Woke in civgaming is like saying who is Robert E. Lee in US History. He is well known as one of the top players on the MSgaming Zone. Unlike me, he doesn't have a bunch of different games to play and plays only Civilization. Woke is the silly ass who wanted to kill all Americans because many of them disagreed with his environmental policies. He had a rant/flame war on it worse than any Stellar (ex moderator) did.
