That's not what Apple's documentation on the upgrade says. It says you must have 10.5 for the upgrade to install, and that it will not install on 10.4.

Where can you find these? My Dad has a Mac and I think he'll like to know as he wants to play some older games on his as well
You know, I have CivIII on my Macbook, and AoEIII and RoN are both also made for macs!

I was lucky! I got my Macbook a month or two before 10.6 came out, so they sold it too me (and others who bought around this time) for next to nothing.

Yeah, I'm not going to spend $30 for an OS upgrade on the rumor that the documentation is wrong when it says it won't work. I'd rather just install the copy of Windows that I know will work and that I can get from the university for free.
