Are you talking about Christ returning or general creationism? The former is a personal opinion that cannot at all be proven.
I believe if we are going to teach evolution, we should teach some form of intelligent design as well, just to keep things even and allow people to choose for themselves what to believe.
And apparently that makes me "Stupid."
No we shouldn't. Evolution is a scientific theory based on massive amounts of evidence, and this theory serves a purpose in numerous fields related to biology and medicine.
Intelligent design serves no purpose other than to serve as an outlet to vent the misguided rage of snubbed creationists. Intelligent design is not a "science". It is a religious explanation that if thought needs to be thought in a religious school.
Or would you rather have the schools waste their time teaching about The Flying Spaghetti Monster also?

Tyranny of the majority, then? Not very libertarian of you.If enough people in our country ACTUALLY BELIEVED that then I agree.
The truth is, there is no proven way the world was made, so we should avoid talking about it in terms of "This is right and that is wrong."
But, if in India they taught Hinduist Creationism as a THEORY, I'd be OK with it.
Do you really think that with the massive amounts of people likely to be involved in such a discovery and the subsequent research that they could keep it a secret? I have no faith in our government's ability to keep such an incident secret.
You may not agree with them, but its an opinion and so cannot be "Stupid," in the same sense as denying facts.
Well, what do you call an opinion that contradicts facts?
It's a theory, and in this case a rather flawed one. And it doesn't have much to do with science anyway, so the issue can just be ignored in school.Both.Depends. Does it deny FACTS or does it deny THEORIES.
Fixed.I got an error message![]()
And I'd go for Traitorfish's suggestion of the Norse myths too. After all, we still name many of our days of the week after some of those gods and goddesses, and our children have a right to know. And if Christian creationist fables are going to be taught in our school we damn well better be teaching Native American and Hindu creation myths also.

Well funnily enough, it was the BRITISH Empire, not the ENGLISH Empire that we won independence from.
This is how these polls work, and they are looking to capitalize on such colloquialisms. They ask you who we gained Independence from from and most people use "England" while the pollsters only count "British Empire" or some such as a correct answer. T
Thus you get the low number you were looking for.
people should just learn what our countries called then calling the UK england is a bit stupid
No, its you being too picky. It would be like docking for saying America instead of United States of America. OMG AMERICA IS NOT JUST THE US!!! You know damn well what the person meant, but you put on airs to pretend you are superior.
