After fighting a number of battles, I think that battles are determined primarily by the ratio of the attack and defense numbers. That is, a 3 power unit going up against a 2 power unit is the same as a 9 power unit going up against a 6.

Does anyone know of a table that lists the win loss percentage based on the ratios. For example, something like:

2:1 - Win 90% of the time
3:2 - Win 75% of the time
1:1 - Win 50% of the time

I'm curious at what point you can comfortably expect your unit to win.

You could convert the ratio to a fraction and calculate percent from there if you wanted to.

Your odds are the top part of the fraction, the total of both values in the ratio are the bottom part of the fraction.

2:1 = 2/(2+1) = 2/3 = 66.66%

1:1 = 1/(1+1) = 1/2 = 50%

3:2 = 3/(3+2) = 3/5 = 60%

It might be easier to use your calculator app instead of making a table since the exact ratio will vary depending of fortifications, unit promotions, etc. You can tell the specific ratio before an attack by holding down the ALT key and hovering over the unit you plan to attack.

The thing is, I think that a unit with a 3:2 advantage will win much more than 60% of the time, based on my experience I think it's closer to 75%, I was just wondering what the actual numbers were, and also, if 3:2 really was different from 6:4.
