Im a macintosh guy, So dont flame me

I know theyres a civilization 3 "world builder" or whatever, but I cannot find the file since im new at this...

I would click on the windows Icon in the bottom left of the screen and click On documents, and.. its not there. I also searched for It and a whole bunch of Civilization 4 files popped up, Which wasnt very useful.

Can anyone tell me a step on step instructions how to get there?

The world builder is a part of Civ4, it is also integrated into the game, so its not a separate program.

The Civ3 version is called "editor"

You've titled your post "Windows noob," but then say "I'm a macintosh guy." Which are you using? If you're using a Mac, nose around in the Civ 3 - Macintosh forum. If you're using a PC, you can get to the editor through the Start menu or by right clicking "My Computer," then "Explore." Then dig into "Program Files," and find the Civ 3 files. Dig around in those and you'll find the editor. Double-click the icon and that should launch it.

Im using a windows, And where do i find it in the start menu?

Lower left corner of the screen. I use XP and, in that verions, it says "Start."

Oh okay i thought that was the right button.

But inside of the start menu, where do I find the editor.

I very rarely use the editor, but here's my guess: Start>All Programs>Firaxis Games>Civilization III Complete>Conquests Editor>Civ3ConquestsEdit

Tried it, Its good. but I have a few questions.

On windows on my conquests maps, I cant find the Earth maps that came with the game. Id love to create modern maps of the world (Like placing Greece, America, Inca, ect where they really are) Where can I find them? Will I have to download maps?

And also If you place cities allready on a map, Do you still need to create start locations? (Maybe one for every civ, In theyre capital)
