Title says it all is it possible to win two victories? I won a culture victory and i want to know can i win the space victory to. Because when I won the A.I declared war on other civs but i tried to ask for peace but they said sorry but we want to win the game? I already won the game because of the culture victory, but the A.I thinks the game still not over and there spamming :nuke: on other civs. I would do something but im not that powerful and all the other civs are afraid of him. Also Mansa Musa became his vassal without him touching a hair on his head, and Mansa Musa another major power in the world. With there modern armors and tactical nukes i fear they can become an un stoppable force :ar15: :ar15: :ar15: (Mansa Musa and Monty taking over the world)>>>> :whipped: Well I better start  to my new masters!!!! But back to subject is two victories possible?

No. Once a victory is won, the game no longer tracks victories. You can keep playing as long as you like. You could fulfill the requirements for a second victory and know that you "won" it but the software will not recognize the second victory because the game "ended" after the first one. The AI saying it wants to win is meaningless. That is a random canned response with no bearing on what is going on in the game. It is just there to make your opponents seem more real.

Just as a curious note, does anyone know what happens if you meet two or more victory conditions on the same turn?

There's an order to them. The game checks victory conditions one after another and once one has been satisfied, it no longer looks for others. I believe than Domination takes priority but I'm really not sure where I got that from. Tachy would know, I'm sure.

RNG chooses which victory you get. I think I remember having had 2 games where I won Spacerace and Domination on the same turn and two different victories were chosen.

Definately wrong is, that domination gets prioritized, as I got Spacerace in Replay #4 (Signature) , a well documented game where this happened, and I know that priorities in the win order are wrong in general, because below us HoF'ers, the word "Domquest coin" exists, standing for the coin the gets flipped when the last cultural defense goes away with the last conquered cities, causing the new ones to expand on the turn that victory is achieved.

Proof can be found in this thread of G117 (Gauntlet 117) where this happened to bcool.

So no great fanfare, it just picks one. :hmm: Disappointing.

In CivIII, Sir Pleb once managed to win five victories on the same turn: domination, diplomacy, space, 20K culture and 100K culture. Just amazing. Obviously he couldn't get both diplomacy and conquest but he could have easily knocked off his one remaining opponent if he had wanted to, so in a sense, he actually had six conditions.

If you want to achieve multiple victories in the same game, there is the Mastery Victory Mod:

Basically it creates a scoring system that adds up points for launching a space ship, legendary cities, land, population, etc. It can be fun for a few games, but games get pretty long as you have to play to 2050 AD to finish. If you've run away with the game and have conquered everyone by 1000 AD, the game can get pretty tedious.
