That is a possibility. I do not know for sure.
do not click, yucky story
Spoiler:
I do know of 1 m2 round that went off while mounted on a truck. The round hit a hard spot somewhere in the engine. angled fwd. Hit the hmmv parted nose to nose, went through the better part of the engine, then through the cab and into the backwall into the cargo compartment. Where it hit the top flap of some body armor, went through it and the armor below (at the shoulders the armor is twice as thick), creased the dirtbag, I mean unfortunate napper. The bullet did not really go into him but traveled along his body just barely touching it . It exited the bottom of his boot, out through the metal door/gate at the rear and got lost somewhere in the woods...
The napper looked like a mummy. Much of the fluids and most of his blood was sprayed all over the rear compartment. All without ever having a real hit. Of course a body length crease from any round is never good news.
And as poor as the Boys AT rifle did against tanks, it was a significantly upgraded version of this round.
On the CS9, I am nearly done with the 2nd weapon. I decided to go with the more common (on this vehicle) Bren LMG over the Vickers MMG. Rational was that nearly all of them, except for a few early models, had a Bren as their machine gun.
No preview image as Photoshop has died, and I have yet to find the disks.
It is not as cool as my Boys AT, but I think it is pretty nice. I made a few minor compromises to keep the poly count reasonable, but it still is the nicest Bren LMG I could find anywhere on the internet.
I am not done rigging it. Once I am done rigging it, I will post it in the props section for all to enjoy.
After that it is on to the crew. I might revisit the vehicle and tweak it a little as well.
Cricky, it taking you lads a spell to get that bolted together.
This place is as dry as a nuns nasty, so hows about if a fella has a wee walkabout to see if theres a hole where he can hit the turps about here. Not to worry to ya diggers, I'm just an ocker fossicking for a bit of amber fluid. But, it's all come good. I'm true blue, and will be back before that beast rolls.
