After I download it, how do I make it playable?

Just unzip the contents to your Conquests\Art folder. Choose to overwrite all after backing up the original directory and away you go!

Well, I am using a mix of this terrain and and Sn00pys C3C terrain and some others. Sn00pys mountains with Womocks mountains as LM, Womocks Ice-capped mountains, and original volcanoes (athough I did replace forested volcanoes with Sn00pys, to mimic those volcanoes that look dormant, but aren't).

I have a mix of the original files you can get from my sig. I especially like what I did with the irrigation, although I have a much bigger variety now.

I would love to see redone volcanoes ala Womocks, but until they are here I would suggest using either the terrain above or:

Mountains, Ice Mountains - Womocks

LM Mountains, Forest/Jungle Mountains, Forest Volcanoes, Forest, Jungle, LM ForestCoast, Ocean, Sea, Marshes - Snoopy

Volcanoes - C3C (I like the charred tops, and the reddish base works for the volcanoes since that is lava rock.

Irrigation - Combine Womocks (grasslands), Sn00pys (plains), and original (Desert and Tundra). This combo really shows just how irrigable and lush each terrain is.

I already unzipped it, the problem is I only have the folder, but I don't have the scenario.

either you overwrite the original files in therespective c3(c) dirs, then you have it in all games or you create a folder, e.g. called Womak, then create an empty scenario in the editor and save it (it would be best if it is named as thefolder, otherwise you have to tell him somewhere in the editor to use the dir)

I have a new folder, but when ever I use the editer, I get the regular terrain.

ok i explain it step by step:

extract the files into the scenario folder
there should be now a folder structure nside the scenario directory like: womoks (or how you called the folder)\Art\Terrain\ and within that there are several pcx files
create a new map (dosn't matter if you have custom rules or custom whatever)
then you go to scenario properties
there is a box called scenario search folder
now enter there the relative path to the folder followed by a ; - in this case simply enter womok;
save it as you wish (eg: terrain.biq)
and now it should work (to see the different terrain in the editor you have to first close the scenario after saving it and then reload it)

The problem is the location has a : in it, it won't let me have that a colon in there for some reason. What do I do now?

C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\CIV3PTW\Scenarios\Womoks Terrain\Art\Terrain

edit: Got It :king:

best terrian graphic i ever seen, i think it is better than the Sn00py. well at least for me it is.

Soon I wil realize my project terrain graphics that's mix of all terrains I found.

This is a dead parrot... err, thread.
