Wonder movies incompatible with CCCP?

I am still running the release version of civ 4 but I have noticed that this always happense to my system:

Full installation of Combined Community Codec Pack + Civ 4 @ 512MB of RAM

Once it arrives at a wonder movie. It does not matter which movie it is the system automatically restarts.

Now can anyone else replicate this problem?

Additional info. The game doesnt crash with CCCP uninstalled.
