Work in progess and Previews

The beads are too small and easy to be mistaken as buttons, try to enlarge them and darken their colour (like brown):)
read my previous posts, they look like buttons because they are buttons. Otto I didn't wear beads his vest has a number of decorative buttons. Please refer to the photos.
But I will add more, and I think I will make them the same color as the gold on the vest.

Will be there a round 3 ? because i dint hear any ring bells...yet lol

Like Always a nice leaderhead from Shiro :)

There might be a round 3 ;)
I just thought the preview image was too long, 15 heads.

Yes,Indeed , Big List and still dint figure out who are the last leaderheads.
I Keep looking but every time i look which of them look familiar , i get tired lol dont know if its me or the smirnoff i drink lol :) <----joke :D

Otto is looking good.

Round two starts off with Miloš Obrenović, Prince of Serbia.

I don't know who "work in progress" is yet, but I must say that she is the most wonderfully rendered woman you have yet presented. Hontou ni bijin desu [truly a beautiful woman].

Dowager Empress Cixi.

I am not sure...

There are very few de facto female rulers in the 19th century Far East, I hesitated when I saw this leaderhead, the hair style/ornaments is/are familiar with the Manchu style, however the flower looks queer...as I've never seen a flower on any hat dresses; the clothes are too plain, Empress Dowager Cixi used to wear decorative and gorgeous clothes...there are too much uncertainties to ensure the woman in the leaderhead.

The most important point was, she is too young. Cixi did gain the supreme power at the age of 26 from the Xinyou Coup, but she had reigned for 48 years!

Probably because the image is based off of TV / movie versions of young Cixi. Also, Shiro specifically said that it's a "rough version."

If anyone says the leaderhead could possibly be Japanese or Korean, I'm going to chuck a jar of kimchi at ya. ;)

I get a "no permission, access denied" message when I try your link. I steer well clear of kimchi; it's a little too potent for even my palate. Perhaps kimchi could be the Korean secret UU in some scenario. I can't think of anything Japanese to chuck which even comes close to kimchi unless it might be six month old dried salted squid.

Oddly enough, in the 28 part Chinese produced televison drama about Cixi's life, Cixi is played by a Japanese actress (Tanaka Yuko).:crazyeye:

7ronin and Ogedei have good eyes.

Yes the preview is of Cixi, She is pretty young, but she wouldn't have looked that old around 1850 (when is where I want the snap shot of history to be), or 1861 when she took power. I also made her a little thinner than she probably looked, Because I'm sexist.
I also based the head dress off this:

One of Cixi's many versions:

Also the drama Tanaka Yuko is in, is a Chinese-Japanese produced show based on a Japanese novel of the Qing dynasty.

Okay...

Here are some pictures of Empress Dowager Cixi, hope it can provide some samples of her clothing and inspirations for you :deal:

A coloured version of her photo, aged 70

A portrait of Empress Dowager Cixi, painted by Kathrine Karl, aged 68

Another portrait from the same author, created in the late 18th century

Perhaps a scarf will make her looks better, and more jewelleries on her head dress. The size of the catchy flower can be readjusted and put aside :p

Lastly, she became Grand Empress Dowager shortly before her death, should we call her Grand Empress Dowager instead of Empress Dowager?

Ah, I see
Why not a jar of Molotov Cocktail? ;)
