OK, this is my notepad log from a game I played and lost just now (went all out on attack at Fu Manzhu who ran away with a removal van and got to ym capital one turn before I got him. Had to kill my in-game namesake... :cry:

Alright, the Basher upgarde path is not right.
Currently, the techs are:
Oooff--> Touche--> Splatt--> Krunch
Splatt enables Basher! which then upgrades to Basher!! (req. Touche) which upgrades to Basher!!! (req. Krunch)
Ummm... Sir Plot has a value of 0 defense, his upgraded version too.
Balthasar doesn't upgrade to his advanced form. Many other of the superheroes don't. I know, they shouldn't, because i'm playing the superheroes, but if the bashers are upgraded wrongly I don't know about the rest of them. Actually, my Duke America doesn't upgrade either.
Muscle Cars don't have transport capacity enabled.
Umm... Takhisis in her dragon form is supposed to have five heads. I should know :P
Plot's Steampunk commando is way more than plain awesome :cooool:
A lot of the text entries are still undone, I see... Fu Manzhu has just wished peace upon me!

I've fixed the Basher upgrade now. The other upgrades are working for the Heroes except Sir Plot who didn't have his 'upgrade unit' check box checked. You'll need spare cash and a Training Room to upgrade. I will align the upgrade costs and bring them all down to reasonable levels.

None of the vehicles should have transport capacity - they're just scout units - I might revise this though.

Sir Plot was supposed to have zero defence - it should make him invulnerable to attack when paired with hidden nationality but it doesn't seem to work for King units. I'll probably end up giving him normal stats if I can't work it out.

Takhisis -> Hydra/dragon - I think tom2050 made a 5 headed form so I can easily switch that one in.

Text files - yes I know about them, this is a beta you know. There's been quite a lot of work done on them already but they are one big chore.

You can make Sir Plot unbuildable some other way? I think not, but...

What's the point in vehicles being scouts? That was the whole point in EFZI!!! A car being weaker than a henchman but the henchman not being able to ride in it? Doesn't sound right. A guy on a scooter could be a better 'scout' unit.

I really think that CHAOS should be run by someone like Sigfrido. (Siegfried in Italian, sounds more Mafia-ish)

I don't like the borders. They're lost amid so many strong colours. Couldn't you do flags like in EFZI? Or fences, or hanging things from posts...
My minions/citizens don't look too evil, they're the original civ. :)
The yellow folks are doing pretty well, they're growing fast.
The tom 2050 unit has a pearl-greyish square cover. :confused: It's as if he had a big square cloud over him. he's also completely silent.
How do we enable map trading/diplo/etc.? I'd much rather not have to research every tech before I get to test those.
 
I tried some more testing and found out the following:

1) Civpedia says workshop is required to build Tesla generator but this requirement is not set in editor and thus not true in game

2) Got a strange crash to desktop error. I have no real idea of what's wrong but I attached here last available autosave: starting from that save, every time I press enter to begin next turn CIV3 caused a fatal error (during AI move?).
Tried to switch off PC and reboot without benefit.
In all other scenarios/games my civ 3 looks ok

I'm playing using Civ3 complete under XP SP3

Fixed it but not sure which fix did it. I do know I copied the wave file and renamed it to make it all lower case and added yell. Then I placed JW and JW2 in mod's art\units and for good measure added renamed .wav file to Dr Prometheus. Now to figure this puppy's play out!
 
Tom2050 Unit Background Correction.

The Lightest Smoke Shade was also set to 255, 0, 255 so because it was the first Magenta Shade, the Graphics Program picked it as the Magenta Background rather than the Last Magenta 255, 0, 255 on the palette. That caused the background to be the lightest Smoke Shade.

Since that smoke shade is not used in this unit, I set it Green and applied the Correct Background Magenta Slot to the Background.

In the Future if that smoke shade is Not wanted, it should be Blocked out or if wanted it should be set to 255, 5, 255.

This is the Entire Unit as it is in game so simply replace the Other Tom2050 in Units.

King Arthur... I set the Thug Death Flc Speed to 66 so it plays a little faster than the 80 spped it was. It appeared slow motion. I made a simple sound for the Death if you want it and the faster Death Flc. I included the adjusted .ini file.

I've fixed the rivers/pylons problem now.
Hanuman! has Blitz (the civilopedia's actually correct on that one).
Gold replacement should be a short 4 letter word because it spills over some labels. I will try Cash.
I can change the borders.
Popheads are way down the list of updates.

wolf_66 I'll have a look at the sav and let you know if I get the same error.

Moosezilla yup that's the fix - for the beta patch I've just copied the wav file into Dr Prometheus' unit folder.

I'd assume it was the Hibees' home field, except that it should be smaller... you just wait.

Cash... that could fit in with 'wads of cash' in some parts.
 
After further play, the waters just look way too calm for my taste. Surely a city in such turmoil can't have that.

Uhmmmm.... Do you still want the Magical Girl? It's just that, what with visits to friends and family, major Auto malfunctions and such, I've not had time to work on her until today, and I'll TRY to have her finished by the end of next week (as long as I don't have SOMETHING ELSE pop up that requires a $750 repair bill, that is!)...
