Work in Progress - Super Civ Scenario

Aye, yer Majesty, but that was over 40 years ago. So the copyright's expired in many countries. e.g. France.
And this is fan-generated content, not for any sort of commercial or lucrative activitites. Check the scenario soundtracks, many of them include copyrighted work.

Send the links over, please, so we can judge.

You know, this scenario reminds me of this one 8-bit Theater episode where Black Mage and Red Mage are explaining (to the audience) why their world needs "Warriors of Light" to save it and Black Mage points out the super heroes their world has:

Arachna-Dude
The Incredible Sulk
Alloyed Guy
(and my personal favorite:) The Mediocre Four

BTW, I DID notice that you used some of my units, which makes me very happy... Especially how you used Rufus as the Mob Hitman. :D

You wouldn't be planning on including any Magical Girl type super-heroes would you, because I happen to have the perfect props and a good idea how to do the "transformation sequence" (by the power of the moon!.....)

Would that by any chance have anything to do with Sailor Moon? :mischief:

That's funny I may add those in as Great Leaders. Rufus just had the air of a slick and efficient assassin about him. He must be good at his job to keep that suit clean.

Heck, if you were to make a Magical Girl unit I'd be Over The Moon! :w00t: The transformation effects are what I love most about your Altima and Terra units.

The LHs I've chosen. Feel free to opinionate over them.

General Chaos... I think an eyepatch and some scars would go better with that name
Nemesis should be a woman. The original one is a goddess:

Captain Cretin reminds me of Neo from The Matrix.

General Chaos... GROAN! That's reminds me of how I'd keep track of my Age of Empires II single-player campaign saved games... I'd name them Gen. Kaos, Maj. Disaster, Cpl. Punishment, Pvt. Eye, etc.

I'll see about getting the Magical Girl done sometime soon.. I gots thanksgiving break coming up soon...

And yes, Tahkisis, it DOES have something to do with Sailor Moon (even though I'm not a MG anime fan myself, I do know a fair amount about them due to having female friends who were big into them).

"By the power of the Moon! Maaaaake-UP!!!!"

HAHAHAHAHA! Girl friends? But girls don't play videogames, how can there be any topic for conversations?

I do rather like that classical definition of Nemesis which admittedly I was ignorant of before you pointed it out. It rather fits with Nemesis being the one to sympathise with rather than those haughty, arrogant super heroes. I'll change it if I can find a suitable LH and unit (perhaps HT's forthcoming Magical Girl).

It All reminds me of my forlorn Micky Mouse vs the Air Pirates! Of course I did have over 30,000 comic books, but that was then. Will you make use of a favorite unit- Elvis?

HAHAHAHAHA! Girl friends? But girls don't play videogames, how can there be any topic for conversations?

This girl was one of those rather rare geek-girls, who was into Anime, gaming and Role Playing Games... She tried to convince me to join one of here Sailor Moon RPG sessions, but I already had plans (my one friend, Ninjaweazel, was running a 2nd Ed. D&D campaign that was heavily influenced by Final Fantasy).

She DID get one of my other friends, Smurf, into the Sailor Moon RPG, and he tried to get me and Ninjaweazel into the game, even telling us that we could play "knight" characters (like Tuxedo Mask) who had power to control emotions... Ninjaweazel and I both hit almost the exact idea at the same time... He'd control Apathy and I'd control Lethargy.

When Smurf asked how that was supposed to help the Sailor Scouts in the party, our response was simple: By inflicting those emotions on the ENEMY... He never bothered us about Sailor Moon again...

....ANYWAYS, enough OT.

King Arthur: I could, easily enough, do TWO magical girls... A typical Magical Girl for the Superheroes and a Dark Magical Girl who would represent Nemesis.... After all, any good Magical Girl needs here Dark Magical Girl Nemesis....

That would be great HT.

Geek-girls, wow! can you introduce me to 'em?

Back on topic: Maybe you'll need a grammar guy, IMHO you people make a lot of spelling mistakes. Maybe you should have me go through the civilopedia before you release it.

Hmm - you did use "i.e." when you meant "e.g." earlier in this thread, you know...

By far the biggest gamer I know is a woman. Geek culture is not as gender imbalanced as the popular media would have you believe.

Also, I dreamed about Elvis units last night. That can't be good.

Two nights ago my fiancée used The King to singlehandedly kill off a couple of dozen zombies in the excellent scenario Escape from Zombie Island 2: the Remake. She then made a successful helicopter escape and won the game to my chagrin (my Authorities wasn't even close). So girls do play, and Elvis is ubiquitous.

Corrected the mistake. I sometimes type fast when I poast. But when correcting...
Ever been to Forumwarz?
If anyone'd like the rules:
Question: When do you use i.e., and when do you use e.g., and what do they mean?
Answer: The Latin abbreviations "i.e." and "e.g." come up very frequently in writing and would probably come up more often if people were more sure of when it is right to use "i.e." and when "e.g." is required. To me, the only way to figure it out is to know what they stand for.
i.e.
"I.e." stands simply for "that is," which written out fully in Latin is 'id est'. "I.e." is used in place of "in other words," or "it/that is." It specifies or makes more clear.
e.g.
"E.g." means "for example" and comes from the Latin expression exempli gratia, "for the sake of an example," with the noun exemplum in the genitive (possessive case) to go with gratia in the ablative (prepositional case). "E.g." is used in expressions similar to "including," when you are not intending to list everything that is being discussed.

I don't pay much attention to the media, they're busy complaining about the government, but there must be at the very least a 10-1 man-woman ratio among gamers here. Girls are into the whole social networking crap, e.g. Facebook, MySpace, but they don't play games much. Computer games, that is.:mischief:

I once heard a song htat went on and on about Elvis being alive, maybe I can find it...

Yoshiko Takahara appears to be your average shy high school girl, however appearances can be deceiving....
