World War 2 Modification

Ok im a big on technicality, the three ideologies "communism,fascism and capitalism" arnt totally correct, the Nazi party was a socalist not fascist orginization.The National Socialist German Workers' Party or NAZI party. It was Italy and spain that were fascist. So using the swastika as the symbol for Fascisim not the best thing but i gess theres not any real symbol for it ether. Really i dont care all that much I like the mod so no big deal, but sense its based on history it should be accurate.

Yes, it's true, they did call themselves socialists... but that doesn't change what they were. Nazi Germany was a fascist totalitarianism... It wasn't very socialist economically either, if I recall correctly

It's just like Saddam Hussein was the president of Iraq... he was technically elected and re-elected every now and then... they just weren't real elections (and the same goes for just about every despotic ruler in the world... for example... there is nothing democratic, republican, or 'for the people' about the democratic people's republic of Korea)

But you are entirely correct about all of that... and even more so about it not mattering because it's a great mod! :-D

Never mind, welcome to the forum.

I created this mod to create ww2 scenarios, so it works only for scenarios.
To play the scenario: Load A Mod-WW2Mod-play a scenario-WW2MOD EUROPE.
Also, download the bugfix in the 1'st page.

Where do you extract the bugfix file to ? I have tried extracting into the main mod folder but it didn't have any effect there ... the 1943 scenario still crashes to desktop.

Step by step.
Extract the scenario in the public maps.
Extract the bug fix anywhere.Inside there is a folder with instructions.
Open civ4/Advanced/LoadAmod/ww2mod
After the mod is loaded go to play a scenario/WW2MOD EUROPE

Checking....

wil, test the scenario I sent you.

Wil, have you finished testing?

When I try to load the mod, it CTD. I did the fix, it made no difference. What can I do?

@arithegreat
Did you follow the instructions carefully?
@wotan321
Which version do you have? Did you install the bugfix?

jimkatalanos,

Thanks for responding. I downloaded v.0.3 from the first post. I put the two bugfix .xml files in the appropriate folders. Do I need a particular .dll or some other file?

When you open civ 4 and load ww2 mod it ctd? When does it ctd(look at the loading bar, and tell me)?

Its not a big problem I can start a new game.

Yes I did follow them and they did stop the instability that I had before with crashing and all units skins missing:)

This Mod would be fun in Warlords.

When I play as USA it crash when I click on end turn
