Has anyone heard of this war between YTMND and ebaumsworld? I'm just hearing about this and I want to know more. All I know is that ebaumsworld stole something off of YTMND and that triggered a huge cyber war between the two site and that YTMND convinced a bunch of other sites to join the war.

I read the wiki article on ebaumsworld and someone needs to shut that site down.

YTMND? Nah that site is hilarious - funnier then Ebaumsworld who just rips everyone else's stuff off.

YTMND has support from about 10 forums. Ebaumsworld may have more money but its going down eventually. Ebaumsworld has pissed off a lot of places.

Being a fan of YTMND.com, I noticed a sudden increase of pages making fun of ebaums. Apparently this all started when Eric Bauman (owner of ebaumsworld) stole a flash fad from YTMND without giving credit to the original author. Bauman is notorious for stealing internet material (movies, flash, games, etc) without giving any credit to the original creator.

Instead of attacking Bauman, it would me much simpler to avoid his website since he makes money through ads. If enough people spread the news and stop visiting his site, Bauman might stop making money from other people's work.

I've never heard of the said two sites... what are they?

And I don't think two sites would make a "WWWWI". (and what's WWWWII? ;)).

World Wide Web War I = Humanity vs. AOL, Pop-up Advertising, Spam, Malicious Cookies, Federal Tracing Cookies, Internet Explorer, Dial-up etc...

No, its more like everyone vs. ebaumsworld

Besides Eric Bauman and his triage of lawyers are there any people that actually support him in this conflict? I know that Somethingawful and Newgrounds members have joined in this "war" but it seems like Bauman is by himself.

Never heard of Ebaums or YTMND? They're just humor sites.

Actually, they're using a similar, though different tactic; that is, they are clogging his site and forums so much that they are nearly impossible to load.
