I wasn't happy with the world map and it needed to much tweaking for me to deal with and its more fun not knowing where your rivals are!

I took out the world map and there is a readme in the .zip file. For example colors for the countries have been fixed and air units can kill and every country has 30 unique city names. Also for example I added defence bonus for Palace. Pyrmids now also gives trade bonus and graineries.

WorldEmpires v1.0 Readme

Mod Based on 1.21f patch.

New and more enhanced mod will be released with the new editor patch and Play The World expansion releases.


Changes;

United have been enhanced and Air Units can now kill.

Some Resources and Tiles have changes.

Some countries are changed and have new colors.

Every country has 30 unique city names.

All countries have been tweaked.

Palace has a defence bonus been in since verison 1.0(update readme in 1.1)
Pyramid has a trade bonus added to it along with its graneries.Been in since version 1.0(Update readme in 1.1)
Republic government changes have been in the game since version 1.0(update redme in 1.1)

Changes in version WorldEmpires 1.1

Expanded leader titles.(More leaders names will change to president later on in the game.) As long as you
are under a communist,republic or demorcratic government!!!

Rebublic Government has 1 Military Support Unit.(This has been tested and works quite well and seems to
balance out the government types.) Makes it more like when rebuplicians are in office and they are always
at war with someone....lol!

Tweaking couple of the Nations A.I. behaviours.

Palace has 1 added happy Citizen

***Game works best on random map***

Civ Changes;
------------

Babylons = Israel(Hebrews)
Persians = (Arabs)
Rome = Italy(Romans)

Israel is now color of a sea/blue.(Persia's old color!)
Persia is now color of a dirty/yellow.
Russia is now color of black.
Zulu's is now color of light/brown.

(All other civ colors were corrected to they'er orginal game colors
that the game was launched with.(Patch 1.21f screwed these up!)

*All other civs are unchanged in name/civ/color reference.

*All civs A.I. behavour has been tweaked for more realism.

*All civs have some army leaders removed and some civs have army leaders
added.

*All civs have 30 Unique city names.

*All civs starting locations have been increased farther apart in the
map generator.

Republic Gov now has 1 militarty support.(Tested and works great!)
[This makes governments more balanced now!]

Now Communist/Republic/Democracy governments will have there leaders titles
change to PRESIDENT latter in the game for more realism.

--------------------

Horses +1 shields
Ivory +1 shields
Mountians +3 Minning

*Hills can now have cattle on them.
*Coast can now have whales in them.

Unit/Building Changes;
----------------------

Palace now has a bomb def of 2 and a def bonus of 10 instead of 0 for both.
It also has 1 happy citizen.

Pyramids now has a trade bonus added forever and graneries and it has been
increased in cost for 40 to 50 shields and increased from 4 culture to 5
culture points.

Units Changes
=============

Settlers now costs 60 shields.

Marines att/10 def/8
Paratroopers att/8 def/10
Helicopter att/1
Stealth Fighter att/4 def/4 cost/15 shields.
Stealth Bomber def/2 cost/25 shields.
Battleship att/20 def/14

*All aircraft units can kill other units now.

*All airunits have had there air attack/def/bombing commands updated.

*Cruise Missles have been increased in bombardment range from 2 to 4.(More realism)

*Most units can now be air lifted like leaders..ect!! Units like armys and catapults can't be.
But cannons and moble artilary can be.(So if its realalistic it can be airlifted!!!)

*No Settlers cannot be airlifted!!!...LOL!

This makes for the perfect game!!!


I've tested these and the game and other civs play alot better and there is still is polor caps and deserts but they are less and more realistic!!!!

Im so happy I found this out with a test...Civ3 is much better now!
