I've been looking at all the paintings in this thread and I've decided that in order for art to be considered good it must meet two requirements:
1. Have required skill to make.
2. Be beautiful or meaningful, preferably both.
That being said I'd like to nominate Jackson Pollock as biggest douche in the universe.
But the one kind of art that people have been hating that I actully like is that "randomly" splattered paint art. I think some of that art is beautiful, and people talk about it like somebody just threw paint at the canvis. I think in most of those paintings, care was taken to make sure the colours look good together.
I think this painting is absoultly goregous and I don't know how anybody could hate this.
