Worst Game Ever

Superman 64

My friend wasted money on Soldner... Oh the AI was excellent. The tanks tried to run me over instead of shooting.

Topper the copper on C64. The only game ever that made me feel ill. I almost threw up.

AGE OF MYTHOLOGY- First I learned nothing accept for how to move and build here. On the easiest level the AI are absolutely flawless. I always fall behind a couple seconds into the game because I only have 1 mouse. The concept is stupid, the bonus features are stupid

AoM is one of the best games i played. its very addictive.

Worst game ever? Hmm, there are a few. I haven't kept up with modern video games like the rest of you, but here are some truly awful games, that sucked a swollen, bright crimson baboon's ass at the time they came out.

Hillsfar
Radwarrior
Serious Sam
Max Payne (the most linear FPS I've ever played)

There are other games I've played which were just awful, but I couldn't call them "the worst". Such as "Command and Conquer: Renegade".

Most MMPORGs, less a game, more a job...a job you pay for in monthly installments.

Spend all day doing a boring action to level up to hit a different graphic, how interesting.

I had some serious issues when I bought WOW, after Everquest and Planet****e, why did I spend that money realizing once again that the genre is foul. Time played = power etc, ability, well you need little or none and there is little or no avenue for it how it got 94% in PC Gamer I'll never know.
Well, if you feel this way about MMPORGs, try Runescape. It's free, no downloading, well, it may take a few minutes to load the first time you try it, but... There is a large Freeplay area, and many "skills" and Quests you can do. There is a Paying version (5 US$ a month), that gives you a few more skills and a MUCH larger area, more Quests, and some nice big bosses. Try it out. It may not be the best game (many people complain about the graphics,) but it's in-depth, and has a fairly nice interface. Made and run by Jagex Ltd of the UK.

Worst Game? My Bro bought a GBA game, "Ice Age". It's based off that animated movie, well, based off it somewhat. It has 10 levels, and you collect acorns. Yes, you heard me right. Acorns.

I know EXACTLY why you didn;t like it ... you played a deathmach scenario BEFORE you played the campaign ...
Because it just isn't possible for this game to be the worst - i don't know against what ai you played 'cause if you would have played the campaign you would see how the ai evolves from easy to hard in a perfectly balanced campaign that gradualy increases in difficulty ... (wow - what a long and almost coherent sentece).
I know another person that did exactly that ... she tried a scenario and got bored because she was only using 1 tactic to win , and so did the ai ...
OTOH i have to agree with her ... i think the deathmach (or whatever non campaign thingy) sucks in all the Age of Empire games ... but the campaigns are worth every penny ...

The campaign of AOM was the best of all strategy games i've ever played! And you say it's the worst game ever?!?

The worst game ever is
Superman 64
Just go to Gamespot and see for yourselves!

Hmmm. worst game ever... quite possibly the latest spyro game for whatever system it might be on. Absolutely terrible. They were kind of fun to begin with, but now they just suck. You can only do about 2 dragon flying little kids games before you just change the title and put out the same game every year.

I always get criticized for this, but I remain vigilant: The entire Final Fantasy series, I thought they all sucked.

AHHHHH HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT!!1

i dont understand your reasoning unless you just plain dont like rpgs.
Some people like rpgs, including me. I like dungeons and dragons and final fantasy especially.

Tell me whats wrong with the series?

Any Command & Conquer game released after the Original Red Alert. This includes Renegade, Tiberian Sun, Generals, and RA2. I'm sorry, but when EA buys companies, the output becomes !@#$.

I also think that Lords of the Realm 3 is terrible. I played 2 until R:TW came out, and then that added a new dimension to the Turn Based/Real Time hybrid. But Lords 3 was TERRIBLE.

Max Payne wasn't that bad, it's just that I sucked at it :p

He's probably just not an RPG person, which is cool. If not...then what the hell is his problem?!?!?!

It's probably not the worst game in general but proportional to the expectations I think Master of Orion 3 was the worst game ever.

I want the death penalty for those who made that game (MOO3). They butchered the MOO legacy.

Worst Games ever:

MOO3
Advanced Civilization (Some really crappy game made by Avalon Hill based on the board game)
Any golf or baseball game

After playing Black & White I was desperate to get Black & White II but it was an absolutely massive disappointment:(

While I've never actually played any of these games, I had a room mate in college who was addicted to them, and I at least have to say that they are possibly the most annoying games to be going on in the background. Although most console hockey games fall into this same category.

Serious Sam was just a blast, I never played it single-player I played it a load of mates on cooperative.

I think it was 4 of us (or 8 can't recall) playing from start to finish in one go. Well I lie, we had a crash half-way through when the number of monsters took the server down :D

Hordes of monsters, interesting surroundings, mental weaponary, plenty of beers and going for it for hours on end - can't call that bad :D

I also really enjoyed Max Payne, another "blast" and the sequel. It was one to play through once and never again - you've just got to realise that is what you're getting into when you buy such games.

So-what if they're linear pretty much every game falls into that bracket if it is a FPS.

Heh, I will vouch for that. Its a better game to play than watch...or listen too when your doing something else.
