Worst Movie of all time?

Have *satire* on your mind and enjoy 'Starship troppers'. Effects are good, anyway.

I never thought of being satirical, i just thought it was dumb.
I probably missed the point, if there was one.
My girlfriend thought it was a great film and got me to watch it, and I've heard many others say they loved it,......sorry lads, I thought it was sh*t.:crazyeye:

I hate Short Circuit. Very stupid movie.

Well, you don't need to say sorry for having your taste. :hmm: But then, why did I post...?

But your GF recommending this one: Now that's satire. ;)

I would in fact propose a theory - movies based on books will always be worse because they add the insult to the memory of the original book to the injury of being crap films.

Yes but you're talking Greenbacks and I'm talking Loonies. :)

Ahh...didn't notice that your location was in Ontario, Canada. I've been to Canada a couple of times...have a 1997 and 1999 Canadian coin set.

To like it you had to live in the '80s. It was considered to be very cool back then. I still love Johnny 5.

LOL I liked it when I was a teenager too. It came out about the the same time as Top Gun, didn't it? I remember going to see both of them about 3 times.

"The Real Cancun"

I haven't seen it, but I'm sure a reality movie that is successful (thank God this one wasn't) will be followed by hailstorms and walls of fire.

Startrek I was commented on before. Besides, this thread is about bad movies, not bad actors (and even worse singers).

The animated movie "Heavy Metal"... Utterly peace of garbage!

And I also subconsciensly dislike movies that "everybody" likes. (Lord of the rings, Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Titanic, the Rock, Mission Impossible, Face/Off... etc, etc)

I finally saw Two Towers. ***SPOILERS****

I thought it was great. I don't think the Ents were a let down at all, and there were way more than 6, unless you saw a different version than I did. The battles were great, I loved the Wargs, Mordor looked awesome, I liked that they are setting up Arwen as a character, the Elves coming to help was a great addition, and of course Gollum was spectacular.

The complaints against Faramir seemed unfounded, since he did end up resisting the ring and letting them go. I thought his character was faithful to the book. I wasn't certain he'd let them go in the book, either.

My biggest complaint would be how Theoden's "possession" was handled. I didn't think he was under any spell in the book, just weary, beaten down, and overly dependent on Wormtongue. I thought Gandalf just talked him out of it without using any scorcery, which I preferred.

Also, why didn't Gandalf have Glamdring in the movie? He's much cooler with a sword than a staff.

Face/Off was horrible. Two actors I hate + stupid story = crap.

"Leaving Las Vegas" might be the least enjoyable movie I've seen.

Nicholas cage sucks :vomit:
also all meg ryan's movies :vomit:

once I had too see sleepless in seatlle, meg ryan and To:vomit:m Hanks...God, I was sick for a week

I think Hanks is a great actor, but he's been in some real stinkers.

He has a soft spoken, understated "Jimmy Stewart" quality.
