Looks good for the units. Though maybe the chnaging colors part is that they change colors with the different ages instead of xp. Kind of like in Halo wars with like the Age of Doubt and so on.

Care to pitch any ideas for anything? Civics possibly? Cities? Third Parties Even?

Maybe we can add the flood as another civ, or probably better, as the barbarians. I am guessing we are going to have a whole new tech tree so that will have to take some brainstorming there too. Instead of cities we can kind of copy off of Halo Wars and have Covenant and UNSC bases instead of cities. Therefore the buildings would be all military related. The UNSC would build landing pads which can move and will make a new fort, and cties which can be built by a settler. UNSC can build covenant leaders which are can strt and base and then are stuck with that base. Any good, eh?

Settlers shouldn't be in the game. These planets are already colonized, so there really isn't a point to making more cities in the middle of an invasion.

I. Am. SO sorry I've been off for so long! haha I now have BTS (finally) so yeah you guys I have no experience with modding. I just had the idea, and you guys are the jack of the trade. What should I do? This week I'll try to put together a good summary of what the mod should really have the look and feel of. until then if you guys could maybe make some models for the units that I've previously posted I would appreciate that a lot

I have been WAY too busy and haven't been able to start grunts yet. Just for ideas, I was thinking of the grunt squad having a leader with a needler and the others with plasma pistols. If any experienced modder knows if this is possible, please tell me.

That's a great idea! I also thought that maybe each grunt squad can be commanded by an elite with maybe a needler (like they did in Halo 1) or a plasma rifle. I might have posted this in an earlier post. Please read it of you're gonna be modeling this any time soon

Well, I should hvae the ghosts done soon. I talked with a couple people and they may do some stuff. We shall see. Sam, maybe try using the warlord and giving him a different weapon and erasing promotions. That might do the trick.
