Would you be here for Leader unique interactions

I find it highly unlikely, but it would be nice if (ie) Cleopatra and the Roman leader (if he ends up being Caesar or Octavian) had an unique greeting, or if Alexander (if he ends up being leader) commented on a Ptolomy ruling part of HIS empire.

I wish for this in every single iteration of Civ and it never happens. Civ BE did this a little bit at least but not that much.

More than flavor text it would be interesting if there were "natural enemies" such that X will naturally hate Y regardless. Though that might detract away from the "write your own history" kinda thing. Maybe you can become natural enemies if you are engaged in hostilities for most of history.

I feel like it would be amusing for a bit, but then it would also break immersion.

It's a lot of work for a situation that happens only very infrequently. Certainly not the best way to spend a writer's time, so it's probably way down on the priority list.

Beyond Earth did a bit of that, and I have to say I personally didn't like it that much, mainly because I don't always "roleplay" as the leader that my Civ is actually represented by. It hurts immersion if a Leader assumes you to be someone that you're not.

In Beyond Earth it also made sense, because all leaders came from another planet where they had a backstory together. In Civ on the other hand it's just "banter from another reality" - because in the one you're playing these Civs just couldn't have met before.

Overall I hope they don't do it.

Not really interested, for the reasons listed above. But a few Easter egg inside joke type references could be good - the kind of thing that only pops up in the occasional game as a surprise.

Off the top of my head, I can't come up with any inoffensive examples, though. Heh.
