True but 666 for a one bedroom in vegas is why to high anyways (yes thats the real average  ) lets see one pay check = 800 (not that Ihave a job atm :goodjob: ) 92 car insurance, 100 gas, 666 house, ...no need to added it up I am not moving out anytime soon. :king:

Come on, Perfection. You know quite well where I live.

The key is buying a manufactured house rather than a site-built one. A site-built house in Anoka is going to run you at least $150K for a decent one, but a manufactured house you can get a lot cheaper.

If you're not picky about the location, you can get some fantastic deals. $25K for a 16' x 80' in Proctor, usually built within the last five years.

Yeah, but the land itself in Anoka county is gonna cost you. Unless you buy it somewhere in the extreme North (good luck getting a small lot), but then that's really not urban living (which I think is implied by the OP) and you're gonna end up commuting quite a bit if you have a job in the cities or first ring suburbs.

Yeah, but you're living in Proctor, which is way the hell over by Duluth. Noone in thier right mind would buy one and commute to the Twin Cities.

Bottem line, you might be able to get cheaper with a manfucatured house (especially a used one) in the outer fringes of the Twin Cities metro, but that's about it.

I didn't say anything about commuting, I'm not talking about people working in the IDS Center.

It looks better than that "Modern" architecture.
