I had a long 3 hour drive home last night and got to thinking more about my story for this game since we are moving again... I basically have the next 3 chapters already outlined in my head. I have a slow week at work this week, so I'm hoping to do some writing while "on the clock"

I like them both, though I have some questions: Shouldn´t Anton be speaking Spanish now? And how do 16 Spanish Queens figure for well over 6.000 years? Every Isabella would have had to live for almost 400 years if their rule didn´t get interrupted several times or for a consecutive period of over 3.200 years! Something´s way off here.
Still a fun read though, I just wished there was more roleplaying over in Gm18bnoE. :/

Good questions! Here's some answers...

1) Yes, he would be speaking Spanish. But unfortunately as the writer I only know English and most of the readers are English, so we conveniently ignore that fact Or you can imagine that way in the future as he is, a common English language has spread throughout the world!

2) I never said anything about every queen being Isabella. Some took the name Isabella, some did not. Also, between the ages some history gets lost, so a medeival Isabella II may have named herself that, not realizing there was a second Isabella in ancient times. The point is that its the most common name taken and they are all the same bloodline. I actually have parts of an explanation for each queen being called Isabella, almost to mean in a holy sense of the word (even if its not their formal name), but its floating around in my head in pieces and hasnt come together fully yet. That will be a future side story.

3) Yes I agree about "Give me 18"... unfortunately my story plots have been focused on this one since we are all committed to writing. Also, in that game my civ is sharing a fairly large island with 1 other player, so theres not a lot to write about. we are both peacefully expanding slowly and theres plenty of room for both of us... theres just not a lot going on to write a story about. Although I may have a third city coming soon, which might be worth a little update

Great minds think alike. Actually he is in the same GMT as me and then the turns are off to somewhere else in the real world

Yes we are in the same time zone so when turn orders get set up we tend to be back to back... also I've spoken to the guy and enjoy playing with him for many reasons, so I've dragged him into my new games with me
