@ kuff-dam: only normal tanks for everyone at first, the problem was I wanted to manage only with the units already available... the Germans however have they own graphics (tiger and Panther) for the more advanced tanks... If I could find a good graphic set for a heavy tank I could reintroduce the panzer...

PS anyone having graphics or links to them that would fit into the scenario, please post it, since I am thinking of adding more ww2 specific units to the scenario
 
ok mate well but the panzers have better graphics so maybe just swap em if you wanna keep all tanks the same.

but the civ specific unit of panzers has a better movement stat to emulate blitzkrieg
this proved a downfall though for them as when the nazis raced em to baku leaving the majority of infantry behind the sovs cut them off from their supplies and the tide of the war started to turn

anyway only a minor moan keep up the good work and thanks for the sav files it takes me 5 hours to load this game without em on my old crappy comp any chance of some sav files for your new version?:)
 
Sav games are coming... just takes me about 6 hours to make them, so it will still be a couple of days!!!

@ kuff-dam: problem is, this is the way the graphics go:
I have a tank, a light and a heavy tank, so 3 of them:
and have only 3 graphics: tank, panzer and light tank, so I had to use them, and the panzer graphic is the best for the heavy tank.. this is why I need a new graphic first... if someone shows me a nice graphic, I'll sure change it...

about the blitzkrieg, it was mainly done by using heavy bombing before sending in the army, which is why I made bombers a lot more effective in this scenario...

found another little bug, I tried to contact the Italiens
and the game exited. He´s looking for facistitaly.flc, but in your
zip there´s just a fascistitaly.flc. I fixed it by renaming the file.
 
Just noticed that there isn't any uranium in Czechoslovakia - one of the Allies main consern during the war is that when the German's occupied Czechoslovakia the army took control of the Uranium mines there - obviously they were attempting to create an Atom Bomb.

did you intentionally implement cholera into the game,
played 5 turns now, and 3 of my cities are affected.

@ Dedin: yes, I added the cholera, But I didn't think it would hit this hard... please let me know about your experience, in the test I did it wasn't too bad...

It should have the effect that bombing the hospital of a city becomes a real threat to the population...
 
aeldrik - I was just in the process of adding disease to my game (I'm leaving it as a surprise) - please can you tell me what results you find from your testing? However I would use a different disease (up to you but I'll list the possiblibities for what I'm going to use):

Encephalitis Lethargica - a strange sleeping sickness - many victims fall asleep never to awake. Those few who survive are a shadow of their former selves. In ten years it accounted for 5 million and then misteriously vanised (perhaps evolving to return again at any time) Last (and first) outbreak: 1916

Great Spainish (Swine) Flu - killed 21 million in its first four months! Almost 80% of American casualties of WW1 were from the Spain Flu. Arose as a non lethal flu in 1918 but quickly mutated into a killer. Some estimates put the total killed worldwide at 100 million.

H1N1 (nice name) - arose in Russia in 1933, then again in 1950 and again in the 1970s (seems to like gaps of about 20 years). What happened to it in between outbreaks in unknown (its a virus as the above but viruses can onlt servive outside a host for a coupple of hours).

No one knows when these viruses might arise again (thats why they can be used in a WW2 scenario).
 
just added the sav files for version 1.03.. have fun with it, again it is in Emperor Level....

Version 1.04 will be next, It will have different graphics for some of the old units (German Paras, German Battleship, new graphics for Heavy tanks and reinstate the panzer...) and a few new units (Morar Inf, Radar Inf,...). I will also add a few city improvements (Forced labor camp for Third Reich,...) as well as a few Wonder producing Units (Transsiberian for the Russian, Indian colonies for the UK,...)
But first now I'll do some testing into the cholera epidemies and other changes...
and then off course I'll see what you guys come up with...
 
PS: @ Kuff-Dam: what did you mean with tanks and girls?????????

@Phoenix: I'll let you know. I don't know what other disease to use, but I think cholera is a sure bet, wherever there is war it shows up-....
 
well, played about 10 turns now and more than
6 or 7 of my cities are cholera affected, but actually most of them
do have a hospital
 
Hey aeldrik,
remember last time I played your conquest and it
freezed after some weeks. Same thing happened again now.
This time week51 1939. Conquered France,Spain,Benelux,Denmark, Norway,Yugoslavia,Greek and the war with russia started 2 turns ago. I have no idea why this happened again :(
