guys, my apologies, I have been at the cebit show in Germany for a week without net access, am back now. However if you guys started without me I quite understand.

ok guys, I'm really sorry, but we have a major problem-.-- I just tried to start the game, and it only allows for 7 players on multiplayer mode (am I dreaming)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! meaning there is no way we can play this unless someone knows a solution for this..... I really hope there is a way....
 
aeldrik, does that mean that only 7 civs are allowed in total (so WW2 XXl has to many) or does it mean that you need at least 7 human players? I hope it is not the first!! In that case I think only Fireaxis can help.
 
I hope there is a solution for this!! But it is not impossible that Fireaxis restriction. If you play the normal game the number of civs is always limited according to the size of the map.
(That reminds me that there are CFC-members who tweaked the standard game to allow 31 civs in a game - perhaps they can help us here.)
 
in the normal game, you can change the number of max playable CIVs on any world size to 31 through the Editor,... this has off course been done in the scenario,... it works fine with 26 CIVs in Single player mode....)
 
and there is no way to have this help us here? Then that is out of my range. Too bad, hopefully there is a solution!
 
Yep, only 8 multiplayer, totally forgot about this :(

Firaxis didnt allocate enough for the game budget... or its just not feasable... either way, this stinks.

Hey! After my game-freeze problem playing as the Third Reich, I thought I would try playing Soviets instead. Instead of starting the game up from scratch, I used the v1.06 saved game file that you provided. I am on Week 32, 1940 and still going strong!!:)

Assuming things keep going well, I will go back and see if this gets me around the freze problem as Third Reich. Now I can defintely say that the scenario rocks:goodjob:

As an aside, the bombardment value of the Sturmovik seems a little low considering the planes reputation as a ground-attack and tank buster aircraft. Maybe you could have the Soviets get a better air-air fighter like the Yak-9 after some research? Just a thought.

@DrNick: Improving the bombing abilities of the Sturmovick is a good Idea, especially since the soviets start without bombers... I will probably change it that way.... also thx for the compliments, it's always nice to know people enjoy the scenario...


@ALL: YOu sure already figured it out, but there will be no MP game, thx Firaxis....
I will release the next update to the scenario is Firaxis brings out a few much needed improvements to the Editor (these ""§$$§" really should start doing something for the money we paid on conquest.,..). Otherwise, they will only be minor changes based on what players suggest...

ERROR READING FILE

Missing entry in "text\pediaicons.txt" ICON_BLDG_CCAMP

The game will now exit
