Prussian Feldmarschall
Psycho, the 2nd ship of the Graf Zeppelin class was never launched. So it is not known what name it should have got, as well as my third Bismarck class ship. So I decided to take names which were similar. That means I take names of ships which belonged to the type in the Imperial Navy. The carrier is indeed another topic. Since there were no carrier in the Imperial Navy... (well if you leave the SMS Ausonia project aside...(Ausonia was an Italian passenger liner which was built at Blohm & Voss when war broke out. In 1918 the ship should become the first carrier of the world. however the cease fire stopped the plan: http://www.german-navy.de/hochseeflotte/ships/misc/ausonia/history.html) However Lilienthal was like Zeppelin a pioneer in the aerial flight techniques. So I chose his name. However there were plans to rebuilt passanger ships into carrier (Potsdam, Europa and Gneisenau (NOT the BB!!!) or even cruiser (de Grasse (captured incomplete French CL) and Seydlitz (nearly completed as Prinz Eugen class CA redesigned as CVL; never completed thanks to Hitler).
Oh Rocoteh, when the war started Panzerschiff Deutschland was NOT renamed and reclassified as CA Lützow!
