W26 1941... Italy wins by VP's (70K vs 40K of allies).

Italy
Controls:
- All of Yoguslavia
- Malta
- Tripoli to Sidi Barrani

Spain & Turkey
Always neutral.

Bulgaria&Greece
Did not loose nor win any cities.

France
Lost 2 cities to Commonwealth (Damascus & Beirut), which were razed.

Commonwealth
- Did not build any Wonder.
- Despite the powerfull units, only made one serious attack in North Africa.
- Kept sending troops to try to capture Cagliari, even after loosing Malta.

All in all, this was a fun game but a bit too easy. The Allies were a dissappointing opponent!
The Greeks & Yoguslavians made a reasonable fight. Taking into consideration their weak forces they made a reasonable defense. The Greeks even made some (local) serious counter-attacks.
It was the AI Commonwealth that lacked a serious attack. It's navy was pretty easy prey for the few Italian vessels and despite their strong units, only one time made a serious threat.

Question: why did you make the Hurricane Tankbuster a ground unit?

Thank you very much for your victory report. It seems I have to do something with the Commonwealth AI. Maybe increase the VP victory value.

The Hurricane Tankbuster is a ground unit because I thought of making it like a kamikaze, but it shouldn't die when it attacked, so therefore I set it as a ground unit, gave it stealth attack against all the Italian tanks and a high attack value.

About the civilopedia error: This is a strange error, but I can't suggest anything else than to don't see "Governments" in the civilopedia.

Just started up a game as the Italians. The naval battle outside Taranto took an interesting turn as I lost two BBs to DDs ...

The icon for the German Reinforcements has a green line above it that I assume shouldn't be there.

Maybe add some British reinforcements in Greece at the start. They were there. A couple of divisions for Australia and New Zealand. And an armored brigade from Egypt I think...It should be hard to take Greece. It was a good fight. Maybe make it very hard for the Italians without German reinforcements.

EDIT: Hey Luddi we have the same amount of post, when you did that one below me 905...stupid but cool I guess..

@The Last Conformist
No, it shouldn't be there, but I'll leave that until I do a major update on the scenario.

@bombshoo
Very good idea. I'll think of it. ;)

After playing a game as Italy, and winning on Victory Points in early 1942, I played as the Commonwealth and lost at about the same time!

War weariness was a real problem, and I was sent into Anarchy twice, despite ramping up my luxury slider to 60%. In the end I decided to go into Communism and that made life a bit easier.

The Turks beat me to the BBC wonder and the American Bomber wonder, which annoyed me.

Might be an idea to alter the settings for Democracy to make war weariness less of a handicap.

Sorry but I can't load the scenario. I' ve the english version of Conquest with the patch 1.22 but every time I try to load the scenario it returns to the desktop. I've tryed to check the compress option in the editor but it doesn't work. Have you some more suggestions?

@mjdh1957
Did you play with the newest version of the scenario?

@TLC & bkwrm79
It may sound strange, but I think you have to go down from v1.22 to v1.20 in order to load a save game from this scenario. I had the same error with another scenario once, and then it worked when I went down to v1.20.

@lollo
Try the same, and see if it works. If not just tell me and I'll try to help you sort it out.

Ugh. If I go back to v1.20, that messes up other scenarios.

I'm afraid I'll stay away from this until and unless there's a version that works with v1.22.

Luddi,

Check and make sure u have all u're LH flcs and stuff added. I changed mine out with the SOE LH's and i have a working version. Also recheck u're Pediatext for extra spaces. I found a few, Which will cause a crash as well. Sorry i don't remember which units.

Have you had problems with the scenario, involving unit and LH graphics?

I haven't noticed or got any reports of any such problems.

Thats why no one can load it. If u have those kind of errors it crashes to decktop w/o the error message.

Look at this! :p Maybe this is the reason for the can't-load-saves-error?
