WWII PBEM - Tora

The remaining British forces in Africa have re-fortified themselves in Johannesburg. The Nazi march south has taken a turn and now they are going after poor neutral African cities. The Allied forces hope to build up enough men for a counter surge... the battle for Africa is on its last legs but the Allies will not give up easily!

only because the Allies have managed to force a stalemate in South Africa and the Japanese have decided to avoid continuing south or east... but at some point this stalemate will break!

A few air assaults on Johannessburg. The German assault of the last British holdings in Africa will begin soon... gps

gps, Johannesburg still survives... lots of air assaults, but no attacks yet.

speaking of which: I have 3 anti-air artillary in Johannesburg, yet they don't seem to be doing ANYTHING against his bombing runs... is there a reason for this? I just have them sleeping in the city, but there's no other option to do anything, ie. fortify, etc. Luthor, or anyone, have a clue why?

One the most MOST annoying unfinished things in this mod, regrettably! I am a big fan of that mod, and contacted its author -- but for no avail :shake:

Yes, you are right, never seen AA do anything to a plane, the only use is to keep one in every stack outside of the city -- because of anti-air bonus AA can absorb largest damage when the stack is being attacked by a bomber. No other uses :(
