Great! Im making a giga map on NYC on BMP2BIC.

EDIT: No, change my mind giga is too much i will stick to huge. :)

EDIT: Huge is also to big. Standard is fine :).

Someone made a Battle of Berlin terrain set. I don't know where you could get it or who made it but if you find out I'm sure you could adapt it to make it useable.
 
i too am working on a city mod but it is mostly gang wars. whatever anyway ive got some graphix from Sim City 2000 that if some1 can convert to terrain graphics would be very helpful to both of us. :banana: :beer: [party] [party] :beer: :banana:

I'd like to see such a mod done, but it's hard to get units. Thats the reason why I stopped developing my Gangwars Mod. However, if you can manage it, I'm sure it will be really funny :)
 
well ill trry to do some of the units myself after i get done the Corn Chucker.
 
I wonder where WWWeasal is? Anyway we can convert those buildings :), but im not that good at conversion, i only have MS paint. :sad: What terrain should they be converted into?
 
i too only have MSpaint. anyways i dunno what terrain they could be converted to. but when its done it'll be good for the both of us.
 
You only have MS paint? Is that what you make units with? It messes up when ever i use it.
 
Sorry about the silence, i've been having computer problems, and a really busy weekend. i have SimCity 2000 and SimCity 4, but I can't figure out how to access SC4 graphics short of cropping screenshots. I can do a decent conversion job with them with Microsoft Photo Editor if I can get some good ones.
I'm still working on a story, maybe I'll post it tonight.
As for the map, I don't really know how much area it should cover.
 
ya kulade i "paint" the units then use this other crappy program to save them as PCX. thats why i cant import the damn Pallettes. :cry:
 
Some ideas I used long time ago :lol: :
I made 3 different groups of Civs: Gangs, Organised Crime and Police with different Tech Trees, I also thought about a 4th group, religious fanatics
I replaced Jungle with Forest and removed sickness. Then I replaced the Forest with residential buildings, this way you are able to build/destroy small houses
 
I converted some buildings from civ3 and put them on resourses.pcx. They work and are of reasonable size, so we can use that. I need to find the statue of liberty graphic on this site and will convert that too.

First Row- Horses exihibit, steel, ammo, coal (?), oil, rubber (?)
Second Row- Aluminum (?), Uranium, Wine, zoo exhibit, clothing depot, Church
Third Row-Candy store, elephant exhibit, hooker, gem, whales, wild animals
forth Row- Fishery, Fastfood, Bakery, Theater, grociery store, oasis(unused)
Forth Row- Seafood resraunt, drug dealer, garage, bum, ?, java house
Fifth Row- Panda Exibit, Ancient Fossil, weed dealer, tool store

All the rest are convertions.

The exhibit are for the zoos. as for the ancient fossils, we can make a tech that lets you build dinosaur w/ them ;) . As for the question marked ones i dont know what to do with. Any questions/changes?

OK I'm still working on the story, it's too early in the morning to think any more about it now.

I surfed through the library and checked out some cool units :cool: I have added some in.
