So here is my current system:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 2.66 GHz
8 GB DDR2 @ 800 MHz
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB
Gigabyte P35-DS3R Motherboard Intel LGA 775 socket

Windows 7 64-bit

I can run the game alright but it's just 'ok' and loading times of the textures is kinda long etc.

So I was thinking of upgrading my 8800 GTS to a Nvidia GTX 460.

But by all means I'm open to opinions and suggestions, anyone care to share some advise?

I think GTX 460 is a great choice. For a little over $200 you should be set for a minimum of 2 years. Toms Hardware puts out a nice chart to help with upgrade decisions. Note that they recommend you don't upgrade unless what you're getting is at least 3 tiers above what you currently have. I have the 512MB 8800 GTS & it runs the game pretty good, just not all the way up on DX10/DX11. I have the 460 flagged as a card I might upgrade to in early 2011. I'm going to see where prices go though and by then prices may drop enough on the 470's & 480's for me to get one of those.

Thanks all for the great advice. What I still wonder is if I'm not beter of with upgrading my CPU then my gfx card. I'm not sure what would give the best 'bang for buck'...

Edit: and thanks for the chart! Wonderful!
