wow, i go civ 2 when i was seven, im 13 now. To be honest i think that game really changed where my life was going. It got me hooked on history and that in turn got my school marks up. jeez that really makes me think....... if only there was a fun math game
I played Civ2 1 time with my friend at like 6 or 7. I got Civ3 at 7 but didn't play it at 8.
Now I'm 11, and play when i can get it to work.
And I remember my friend Kyle (lives in Bama now, only 10) played Civ2 when he was really little and ran me through how to play Civ3. Although, i didn't become good until reading the manual
I got CivIII when I was 13-14, Alpha Centuari after that, then Civ2 and just recently I got a copy of Civ1 for DOS to play in DOSBox on my Pocket PC. That game really has changed so much...

I started playing at 20, while in college; although I only played two games.

EDIT: Posted to the wrong forum (had two open at the same time....)
Erm, I started playing Civ2 in the PSX1 when I was 22 y.o. back in 1.997 and thanks God for that, otherwise my marks would've been tainted back at college and high school.
My kids started when they were three and five on chieftain with just a little help (set tech slider). Wife shut it down when son started acting like a swordsman. Should have disabled the unit graphics...
