My favourite UU, in terms of goodness (?) = Praetorian. Easy rushes.
Non UU = Infantry. Can just be so dominating.
My favourite UU, in terms of enjoyment = Samurai or Panzer. They just look cool.
Non UU = Marine. I have no idea why.

Cannons. Too bad in my actual game there was no iron whatsoever on my whole continent, so I had to shoot for infantry. Lucky me, a source just popped in one of my mine... on 1800 AD !

Can the world builder count as a unit? I think it has done more for me than any unit in the game.

Other than that, I think the ICBM just has the most "KERPOW!! TAKE THAT!!!" factor out of all the units, even if the actual usefulness is dubious, the graphic is just too cool.

As for favorite, I like janissaries and oromo's because they change the 'flavor' of the era so much.

Conquistadors (yes, I'm predictable). So much fun, I love the graphics, and they eat EVERYTHING for breakfast pre-Rifles, which can be a very long time as the AI just doesn't place a great priority on getting them.

Horse archers for sure. Half the teamers I play are only won thanks to horse archers. I guess by extension that makes keshiks even better, but I'd like the clarify then that I think keshiks are #1, and horse archers are #2.

Archers, if you are Sitting Bull. Protective +Totem Pole + Barb. Killing allows you Lvl4 Archers to upgrade to Longbows then Rifles.

Spies, simply becouse no army can do more harm than a single spy.
I only wish someone would modify spies to be like in SMAC where you could do a bad thing and blaim it on another leader.

Definatly: my favorite unique unite is the Fast Worker of India, because no army can take another well established nation, without the use of nukes of course. Non-unique unit is the Gunship due to its fair attack and kick-butt speed(down side, it cant take cities)
