My first computer was a hand me down. Actually, it was third-hand.

8088 Intel Processor
Could operate MS-DOS, or CP/M (16-bit or 8-bit) or even as a terminal (if I had a connection to a mainframe)

It came with a retina-searing monochrome monitor and an enormous daisy wheel printer. Print quality was sharp, but boy was that thing loud!
