Huh?

I'm 5'10" BTW....
And you call yourself a Minnesotan

It's a reference to Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" radio show that references to a fictitious Minnesota town of Lake Wobegon "where all the men are tall, all the women good-looking and all the children, above-average"

192-193 cm... which isn't overly tall where I'm from.

Why is everyone at CFC so tall? Is there a logical explanation for this?

It seems a lot of us are from the midwestern U.S., which has a good deal of tall people. (Also, the majority of people here are men, who are several inches taller than women, usually)

The "Where are the CIVers from" thread has most of us living in the northeast, I think. Though I haven't checked it in a while.

EDIT: Oh, sorry: 178

I'm about 185 cm or 6'1".

Why the hell don't they just teach us the metric one from the beginning? It's stupid :p.

I should be like 190 cm or something.
Didn't you say you are 6' in the other thread? That's about 182.5 cm, not 190!

I have absolutely no Idea how to convert centimeters to feet and inches.
Here is a little online conversion calculator for you to convert feet into inches. First just calculate how many feet and any decimal numbers (IE. 0.2321) convert that into inches :).

Or multiply inches times 2.54 to conver t inches to cm. You could reverse the operation to go the other way.
