Re: F-Zero X

I've beaten all cups on the Hardest, the 2nd hardest and 2nd easiest. :smug:

With all 30 ships? Beating all the cups isn't too hard with the right ship (probably the Blue Falcon is best) but beating the hard tracks with the crappy lightweight ship and so on is quite difficult.

Oh, I also got all the treasure in Pikmin 2 in 8 days [EDIT: I just checked and it was 10 days, that's very difficult though - although there is a walkthrough on the web for doing it in 8 days, gosh, I didn't use a walkthrough however. Got the 10,000 pokos to pay the debt off on the 6th day] (that took me about a month of careful planning, you really have to move very quickly to do that) and got all 120 shines in Super Mario Sunshine (I had to cheat and look up the location of the last 2 coins on the Pianta Village level). It was a lot harder than Mario64.

Yes, with all 30 ships. I'm slowly going through finishing off the easiest difficult still, with a cup or 2 every day.

You gotta be kidding! The Blue Falcon? That old rust bucket?

but beating the hard tracks with the crappy lightweight ship and so on is quite difficult.

Crappy Lightweight ships? What? The ones who can go the fastest?

(Although saying that, although I used to use the Twin Norrita (SP?), I much prefer the heavier ships now, such as the Fire Stingray)

In no particular order...

Ultima Online
Everquest
Shadowbane
World of Warcraft
Whatever is the latest Civ
Superpowers 2 (I wish someone would make a new, better version of this game)
All the battlefield games minus 2142

I'm not hooked on anything right now. Maybe when spore comes out ... Or Conan online.

FZero again: the problem with the lightweight ships was that they took alot of damage on the sides of the track. The heavy ships are the best once you get the hang of them. Zoda's ship rocks though. Once you get used to the heavier slidey ships they are the best. The boar one was pretty good with it's great top speed. I also liked Doc's ship which was the big yellow box. I only managed to do a couple of the ghost time trials though, they are rock hard. Fond memories. The gamecube version didn't do it for me as much I'm afraid.

I was thinking of going back and doing the easier levels with all the ships but it would have taken too long and it was too easy then for me ;)

Currently downloading a Pikmin 2 8 day speed run video ;)

i'm actually very surpirsed only one other person has mentioned counter-strike, and only a few others the half life series

Well, Civilization and Counter Strike are completely different games. I'm not really all that surprised.

EDIT; I'm much more shocked about the lack of World of Warcraft, with only 4 or 5 people mentioning it. Especially in comparison to the amount of mentions of Warcraft 1-3.

true they are, but with the amount of people that play games in general, many play first person shooters and one of the more popular (still) is cs or cs:source..

lots of battlefield fans though!

I forgot another one:

Jagged Alliance 2 :goodjob: loved that game, I can't remember how many times I've saved Arulco from Deidranna :)
