Congratulations on your first Monarch victory! Yes, it is ironic that you won in 1969!
Before I saw that you won, I was going to say that, at Monarch level, I generally begin to pull away from the rest of the pack when I hit the Industrial Age. On Emperor, it is generally in the Modern Age that I break away from the rest, and it is always a challenge to do so.
