    A system? Well, I start by thinking "go in a classical direction" and then shift to "make it a little funny." but if you need more than Arostese, Hib, Hep, Gallio, then feel free to innovate, their names are a little different from Heavenly Dragon names in that Paranese names tend to be single words.

    Good luck with the PBEM by the way. With the Horseman unit I'm thinking probably either

    costs the same and does the same damage as spearmen but with Autoretreat, or

    Autoretreat, 7 attack power, costs 3
    I don't have the time right now, especially if you want these stats to get fixed ever. But I do love the Prohibition games, I remember playing in the first one.
    Basically, I'm just going to develop it as a 'Guide' character, whom I might or might not kill off later on. He's the reason that Zachariah Anderson isn't still suffering technological whiplash as badly as he would have. Anyway, Z.A.'s "power" is that he can analyze information and emotions faster than normal people, presumeably this would give him a Bullet-time effect in combat, but I probably won't win by pure strength unless I'm fighting Antifelix. :p
    Yeah. I'm not gonna make it fly, but I did consider that it is connected to Carnivale's information net work, and I can ask it some questions. When you had it, it answered all your questions, then stated that it didn't know if the rules covered something (probably the rules either didn't cover it, or it was in a much older, more annoyingly indexed condex) and tried to jump off your arm, after which you tossed it.

    The pirates would be the freelancers. As you can see on the map. each of the areas has its own name and stuff. more info on it coming shortly. If you are a pirate, you would post your turns like this :

    Ship # Weaponry:

    Crew :

    Actions : Name of area to search.
    I would be using a d10 dice to randomize your chances of any ship that you meet. In case someone has already posted a ship there, you would know of it. Then I will mail you the same information. Now begins turn 2, the action round, you will then mail me how to interact. Join these people, attack them etc. Pirates will also have the option to either capsize a ship or try to take over.
