    Actually, Croatia still didn't get into EU.
    It is scheduled to happen in July if all countries ratify the agreement which is usually just a protocol.

    I don't think it is good for Croatia. We'll lose more than we'll gain. Most of the people are against and indifferent. But when referendum was up, all people for EU voted yes, while those against didn't even vote. Democracy.

    Croatian politicians are incredibly corrupted and incompetent. Even more incompetent. There was a case not so long ago when assistant of Minister of Economy who is highly educated electroengineer (I am talking about assistant) and also very successful manager, disagreed with his Minister and Prime Minister about economical strategy. He was kicked out. You see, politicians in Croatia are usually bad students of Law and humanistic sciences whose job is raising hands the way their party leader tells them. Party leaders, OTOH, are bribed by foreign lobbists representing EU interests. Nice.

    In the books, I believe Doakes was more shady or even considered to have his own "dark passenger". In fact, it seemed a lot more folks in the Book had Dark Passengers, even Rita's kids. But it's been a while since I read them

    Well, I'm not sure sociopath quite fits him, though perhaps it does, for he definitely has been trained to ignore empathy. That being said, he is still apparently a shrewd judge of character, which I find in reality does not mesh with complete sociopath (they are often less capable of reading others and more importantly don't give a damn about many things others would. Doakes does care about what he does, and does care, if anything too much, about "stopping bad guys" in a way a Sociopath wouldn't).
    However, he is a former Special Ops soldier iirc, who very probably has done some shady assassination-type missions in the name of the US Government, something that people loaded with empathy would struggle with. Even if he didn't assassinate people (there's some evidence he probably did, but certainly nothing conclusive), he definitely has killed people, and he seems to have little to no emotional problems concerning that, so half-sociopath may be entirely accurate, in the end.

    Forgot to say:
    Yeah, Doakes was a good villain character, because he has just enough negative qualities for you to not like him, and just enough good qualities for you to realize he's not really the villain at all, and in many other stories he'd be the bad-ass no-nonsense good guy chasing after the real bad guy. This latest season is getting back there, but LaGuerta is no Doakes. Really, she has little to no redeeming qualities. She's stuck up, political in an arena that should ideally be devoid of politics, and unceremoniously broke up with the best "good guy" in the show for no discernible reason (it wasn't even shown at all!).

    Dexter is probably my current favourite series, though it is now competing with Game of Thrones, where it used to have no competition at all.
    I lost interest in House though, somewhere just after the competition to replace his doctors. I just never understood that part of the series. Did all the original actors find better paying jobs? Did the writer's run out of things to write for them already?? Why did House need a whole new team? That being said, two of the new members ('13' Olivia Wilde and the guy from the WhiteCastle movies) were actually very good, but I still lost interest. I liked the interplay of the three other doctors as much as I liked House's character.
    As for playing until sunrise.... I am messaging you in the same timezone you are in (I believe), so that means it's 3 AM as I message you now, lol

    That's definitely Doakes, and in combination with "Sunrise, Motherf*cker" (a take on the most recent Dexter episode title, namely "Surprise, MotherF*cker") I would imagine Tachy loves Dexter.

    Thanks again. I was serious when I said I would look it up for the next hour, though, so I actually had eventually figured out what they were on my own independently (it actually took less than an hour, as someone could deduce from the time-stamps of these messages). But your summary WOULD have saved me my time, if I had read it before scouring that wiki. It lead to a new search, though, on what is "moe" (I've already looked it up, so no need to translate/define!). Of course, it doesn't sound like a hard-and-fast definition of moe actually exists, so one cannot apparently truly say they know what moe is. Moe = moe. What, you want more? :lol:

    Haha, your reply has left me more confused than ever. I think I'll be spending the next hour determining exactly what a Vocaloid is and whether these Vocaloid characters are anything beyond someone's fidgeting with an audio-program.

    Is your secondary profile pic a mix of "something" and Anima from the Final Fantasy series? The chains and wings made me think Anima right away, even though he has a mummy-wrapped skull for a face.

    You know, when I am at civfanatics, I tell my woman I am visiting MY facebook. She knows it's cfc. I refered to endless scrolling the forums in fear of missing out. But, now, it seems cfc is totally getting share of social networking paradigm. I, actually, like it. Although I don't like fb (but have it).

    It is nice to see all those young guys finding some love online.:D
