This probably isn't the right place to ask, but what does the IIR stand for? I just came back to the forum after being gone a month or two and had to research the BtS abbreviation, and this is the first time with IIR.....
I completely understand why Fireaxis balanced the religions the way they did. Fireaxis is a company that has to look out for itself. They certainly don't want to offend someone and be sued.
That being said, I'd really like better religions. I think they're a bit boring as is. For example...
It could be either unhappy or unhealthy. The notification idea is great, but it doesn't seem to sense the avoid growth button is on. Otherwise it might be a great idea. I'll try changing the settings then. Thanks.
Just played my first game with your mod. (Miss Hitler, need patch!) The biggest problem I ran into was the messages I got every turn for most of the game: "Babylon will be unhappy next turn" or something to that effect. It was because it was about to grow, but I had Avoid Growth on so it...
I suppose I'll probably get (semi?)nasty replies for this, but it would be nice (realistically, not ideaologocially) if you could include that mod a few posts back with the Hitler leaderhead.....if it's not already too late. I highly doubt that one more leader is going to slow things down too...
Thanks. That's probably exactly what's been happening to me. I wasn't going to resurrect this thread, but I did try again, taking screenshots to prove that it had to be a bug and everything, and I got a diplomatic victory for the first time in my life! The leading candidate thing is probably...
I had that problem with the vanilla civ, but not on Warlords. I also see only eyeballs and stuff on some of the ViSa leaders though....a solution would be great....I too wonder if it's the shader/vs. not thing.
On Internet Explorer, using the link you just gave says:
"No main page yet, so head on over to the wiki.
http://civ4wiki.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page "
So use that link which works just fine.
I forgot to unzip it. I originally pulled the Hirohito folder directly out of the zipped folder, and the size was only about 6MB. I redownloaded and did extract, and now it works just fine. Thanks.
I'm on a PC...2.0.8.0 (I assume that's the same as 2.08?) The only thing I can think of is the cache whatever that is....so I'll go run a search and see how to clear whatever that is. Currently the mod loads just fine and I see the CivIV Warlords screen just as I would without the mod but with...
I did all that. It's in that correct folder and is an option in the select mod screen. It's just that Hirohito is not a leader choice when I actually load the mod.
