City Hall

City Hall 1.11.2

better city & town tools

improved production list and city details

new and improved features:
  • color-coded city views with buildings and adjacency bonuses
  • unique quarter assistant
  • one-click repairs
  • compact production list and building breakdown
  • production list sorted by total yield, combat strength, and cost
  • building breakdown sorted by improvement and wonder names
  • a new City Overview tab showing demographics and connected settlements

better map colors

see your settlements clearly with gentle shading outside city limits and brighter colors for developed tiles:
  • purple for the city center
  • blue for urban districts
  • teal for offshore improvements
  • green for other rural improvements
the center stays purple in building placement mode, to help you stay oriented. (it turns a darker purple if you can't build in the center.) the city map shows building icons in the main view, and the buildings have flags with their adjacency bonus yields.

unique quarter assistant

guides unique building construction in the building interface, with orange hexes to warn you before blocking a unique quarter by:
  • placing unique buildings on different tiles
  • completing a non-unique quarter with a unique building
  • adding a non-unique building to a unique district
the interface now recognizes unique buildings in progress and in the production queue, to help you plan both buildings at the same time.

more city details

adds an Overview tab to the City Details panel, showing population demographics and connected settlements. also reorganizes the Building Breakdown tab for readability and compactness, like the production chooser.

one-click repairs

when your city needs repairs, you can buy them with just one click.
  • repairs always appear at the top of the production list, highlighted
  • the production list automatically switches to Purchase repairs
  • you don't need to select a tile unless there's more than one choice

compatibility with other mods

known interactions:
  • Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments: no conflicts.
  • triex's city details building tooltips: no conflicts.
  • F1rstDan's Cool UI: no conflicts. when both mods are installed, you can use the Options menu to customize production list styling. thanks @F1rstDan for making this work!
  • MantisMaestro's Compact Production Chooser: mostly compatible. when both mods are installed, MM's production list replaces the City Hall version, which also disables one-click repairs.
  • KayleeR's Misc UI Modifications: mostly compatible. when both mods are installed, City Hall features replace some parts of KayleeR's mod related to the production list and building placement.
  • Slothoth's Abbreviated Repair: incompatible, but City Hall provides an equivalent feature, one-click repairs.

localization

supported languages:
  • Italian (translated by leonardfactory)
  • Korean (translated by Hotsolidinfill)
  • Russian (translated by Webrok)
  • Simplified Chinese (translated by thendye)
  • Traditional Chinese (translated by alwdark)
thank you all for your help!

One of the few *absolutely* must-have mods. Firaxis would be wise to buy Trixie's work and straight up add it to the game as-is.

THANK YOU for making Ageless stand out more. I know my eyes are _weird_, as "value blindness" isn't a well known concept. You rule the school.
Love the mod though Patch 1.2.0 today may have broke it. I cannot get the production panel to load. Tested with only this mod active.

should be working now! thanks for the bug report.
A neat update, made the mod even more polished.
Mod provides a good optimizations to the city screen.
The early days of a new Civ game are always rough, but this mod is here to save the day. Thank you!
Mod provides a good optimizations to the city screen. Really appreciate the compact mode. A key feature for me.
Excellent mod, thank you.
Excellent must have mod.
Amazing mod! Such a nice QOL upgrade. Noticed a bug today (not sure if it's bc of the new patch) - It looks like the Wonders are disappearing from the options intermittently on cities. I reload the game, it works until the next tech/civ is updated, then they disappear again. Reload game with add disabled and the Wonders are back. Can't wait to use this again once it's updated! Again, amazing amazing mod!
Another gem of a mod :) Minimizing the hassle associated to rush-repairing disaster damage, ending the guessworking around how many connections a town really has (important if you want to specialise it in influence generation), a condensed list of things to construct/purchase...and that is just my personal top list after playing a short time with it.
One click purchase repairs that don't auto switch back to the production que? You da man!
