[NFP] [1.0.9.9] Unexpected Single Step

I've been getting this error that has prevented me from playing civilization VI, preventing from founding capitals in new games or loading past save games, including a Babylon game I just started yesterday. This bug has been happening today and has been occurring in everytime I've been trying to play the game today.

Closing the box automatically closes the game and brings up the crash reporter.

Not seen this one yet - but not tried to play as Babylon since the last patch.
