1000 ways you know you've played Civ2 too much when...

#163 -- You raise your hand in Economics class and ask about the large delivery bonus from a camel with silk.

#164 -- You teach an Economics class and use the example of a delivery bonus to a foreign civ as opportunity cost compared to the ongoing trade arrows of a domestic delivery.

#165 -- As you count the beakers, you realize that you get closer to great discoveries as you have more to drink…:D

#166 -- In fact, with your third bottle, you realize you also get closer to great discoveries with red wine rather than green or yellow wines

#167 -- In filling out the 1040 form, looking for the line that demands declaration of delivery bonus

#168 -- Looking up the IRS web page to see if partial rush buying qualifies as a miscellaneous deduction. :( (I don't see it yet.)

#171--You wonder why Bush doesn't build a SS...doesn't he know you get more points that way?
#172--You wonder why Bush doesn't kill science and jack up lux..we have all the useful techs
Edit:#173--You wonder why Bush is afraid of N.Korea and Iraq building nukes...We have The Laser-just build SDIs!

There are still two more techs to discover, Fusion Power and Superconductors (with practical uses);)

Superconductors have been developed in real life the simpaly have to be in a refrigerated system. normally well below 0 degrees

Yes I know, that's why I added (with practical uses), because the cooling cost more energy than you lose in normal wires.

We have - see here:
Interesting. I read somewhere else that they've allready planned a fusion power plant, but they haven't decided where to build it yet, Japan, France, Canada and another country are the candidates.:) Still, I don't think they're able to fit one of these plants on a spaceship yet.:)

There are several experimental fusion labs, the problem is that they are still putting more energy into getting the fusion reaction started than they are getting out of it in usable power. It is all focused on earth-side power generation; no space applications yet...

#174: You get enraged that the previous few posters have taken this off-topic. :)
#175: You get completely confused when reading that Washington DC was not founded before New York.
#176: You get even more confused upon learning that New York was originally called New Amsterdam. How did the English get a city from a country that doesn't exist?

178. As you watch the Marines march in a parade, you wonder where their green health bars went.

179. You ask your history teacher if Marco Polo's Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria were triremes, caravels, or galleons.

180. You think that the U.S. navy should disband all of its destroyers in favor of obviously superior AEGIS cruisers.

181. When reading a history book, you highlight every instance of words like "chariot," "legion," and "horsemen" and try to determine which side would win the battle based on the numbers given.

182. You're willing to post four of the most embarrasing Civ-related things you've ever thought of doing (or actually done...)

184. You wonder how the heck they got a howitzer onto a Spectre Gunship, then go to an autosave to try and do it yourself...

185. You watch a war movie where the heroes win against all odds and conclude that they must have been using simplifyed combat rules.

Do you expect to defend your cities with haystacks noble leader?

BUILD CITY WALLS!!!

Your "Democratic" government declares war on another nation and you can't understand why the citizens aren't revolting, government collasping, etc.

The next day you realize it must be because we've built the U.N.
