Hahaha... I don't really care what you think, Farow and Jono. I'll continue to call new people "noobs" when they do stuff that I know is stupid. That's right, I said know.

The correct way to go about taking that island, is to spend those 4 ep on a navy, let Rome spend the money on the stupid island, then crush his navy and invade the stupid little piece of nothing. You will have grown your navy, crushed romes, and taken the island. Rome would be forced into a peace treaty, and you'd be a serious contender for power in the mediteranean.

By spending 4 ep on this little piece of nothing, you have only weakenned yourself. Now Rome gets to spend whatever he wants on navy, crush yours and invade that little piece of nothing if he wants. (Which I would defffinetly, if I were Rome.) You're all making threats to Rome, but you're so spent right now that he doesn't need to listen to them at all. No strength to back up the smack right now, is what I'm saying. Naval warfare durring this time can be extremely costly for the power who loses, and extremely beneficial to the one who wins.

I know this from first hand experience, gentlemen. First hand experience. Don't talk to me like I'm your "equal"

I'm not saying you can't call the guy a noob for doing something that is clearly stupid, it's the reasoning you used that pissed me off.

Exuse me? What I did was clearly stupid. I presented my viewpoint without calling the others opinion stupid. It may be the wrong decision in the end but you have no right to just simply call it clearly stupid without backing it up. Amon, I heard is argument and I repect. However, I do agree Amon should show the rest of some respect as being a veteren he should learn new or old we have our capabilities.

In my opinion it was a stupid thing to do, Egypt clearly has expansion to the east blocked out and 4 eco is a lot to spend (at this early a stage) on an island that took Egypt a turn to take over.

Okay, thanks for your opinion but you still called my opinion stupid. I am getting Greek lands without war and 4 EP is a lot of money but if Egypt grows too powerful as in all NESes players will gang up on them. Who knows giving Egypt all this money may get them on my good side

I am withdrawing from this NES due to lack of interest which makes it very hard to write orders. When it becomes work and no loner fun I cannot continue.

Update 6: World Ends due to lack of interest

I continue to find increasing lack of interest of players in this NES, I have only 6/11 orders, which is pitful (to say the least). This is, in part, due to my letharga in not giving prompt and complete updates due to increasing shortness of my available time . As such, everyone in the earth dies of boredom. I apologize to those who invested time and effort into it, but it simply doesn't make sense to continue with such few players, as well as the lack of any sort of happenings in peoples orders, as well as my increasing time constraints.

I am, surprised, in the longevity in this NES. (if you search by name you can see how long each of my other NESes lasted for (none past the second update).
