Well...after 0-4, at least I made it this far. ;)

Well, if this silly league had bye-weeks in the playoffs, you would most certainly not get your delicious revenge.

As it is, I seem ripe for a nice ass-kicking at the hands of the bunnies.

No T.O. + No Stephen Davis + Tough Matchups = The Burninators getting walloped. :crazyeye:

Looks like the Springfield Atoms will be the first to feel the bunny's wrath in the playoffs.

Just had a look at the games, after watching Philly implode. Scores haven't updated, but there has to be a new nominee for cruellest loss of the season. Freds Freaks need a win to have any chance of playoffs, and going into the philly game, they're almost 4 points clear, and looking good for the upset. Freds has just Mike McMahon playing, Rogers' Collarbone has just LJ Smith. Smith will get all his points & TDs from the arm of McMahon, so barring a 100yg+ game, and virtually nothing for the other receivers, Freds are home, right? By my count, McMahon's gone for -2 and a bit points, Smith's gone for +2 and a bit points, and Freds Freaks have gone the way of the eagles. Ouch.

Cruel is an understatement   , but my entire yr has been like that.
I had L.Evans on the bench after sucking all yr = 3 TDs on Sunday

Good luck to the playoff teams, see you guys next yr with my new team- Fred's Revenge.

YEah I thought my 98 point victory at the beginning of the season was a sign of things to come, but then I made a trade and both players I traded away blew up and started playing good and the guys I got either played badly or ended the season on IR. At that same time my top players all went out and got hurt so I've been sinking further and further. This is the worst FF season I've ever had, but I stuck with it. I will be back with a vengeance next year. Good luck to you guys in the playoffs. I'm certainly out of that picture now. I'm the Puffy Magic Dragons. I thought that was more fitting a name than just Dragons since my face is puffy and swollen from the pounding my team has taken in this league. And Magic because my team has potential to upset, I lost to the Burninators by a lousy half point. Damn M. Jenkins, all he had to do was catch a ten yd pass. :coffee: I'll be waiting for you guys next season.
Before everyone leaves for the off-season, I just want to say "Thanks" for the part in bold. Hopefully the Commish has been taking note of who actually played out the string this year so we can get the right people involved again next season.

If the commish is taking note, countme in for next year. This is one of the few things I made time for this fall, and I'll do it again next year. All the way to the bottom, which is where I almost ended up. Thanks to my 2 top picks, Dillon and the Duece.

As Lee Corso might say...Not so fast, my friend!

Barely sqeaked into playoffs with fewest wins and points + No Westbrook + relying on many offensive players from Houston and Detroit = Early Exit.

I liked my chances at least a little better with Westbrook in the mix.

(I know, I know... )

Maybe we'll tie, then. :goodjob:

I've been gone for 2 weeks with no net acees, and have had limitewd acess for the past 2 months, which is why I've not been around to much recently.

First off, as the Commish, I want to thank everyone for a great FF season, and to all the teams who made it to the Playoffs, congratulations.

I'll now be using my commish powers to transfer all the good players from non-playoff teams to my own....

BA's Massive Whompus 8-5 vs. 10-3 Roger's Collarbone

The first matchup between these teams. RC's 3-2 vs. playoff teams and BAMW 2-4. Injuries play a big part in this matchup with question marks M. Moore, N. Rackers and D. Driver for RC's and M. Bennett's status dependent on M. Moore's status, F. Taylor (should've known) and E. Kinney out for BAMW.
The way I see it....
QB's Edge RC's--Cincy is the new "Indy" and they play Cleveland. The only thing I can hope for is a early Jax lead for Peyton to throw and for Edge to be held to less than 47 carries and Palmer plays in snow.

RB's Edge to RC's with C. Martin and J. Lewis vs. W. Dunn's NO matchup but question marks for #2. There's a big edge to RC if M. Moore plays so RC's can play C. Martin at flex.

WR's Edge BAMW. Good matchups for Whompus and Driver's got a hip. Moss vs AZ, Branch vs Buf and over possibly out Driver vs Det, Porter vs. Jets

FlexEven if M. Moore plays but edge to BAMW if no Moore. Flexxer Wayne vs Jax.

TE's Edge to RC's with a healthy L.J. Smith in a divisional game over Lion M. Pollard. Let's face it he's a Lion so he gets nothing....
Kicker Lucky edge to BAMW. The best RC's can expect from injured Rackers is short FG's and extra points or nothing at all. Phew. Bironas vs Hou. gets the edge.
DefensesPretty evenly matched up but edge to RC's for the GB;s matchup vs. Det and BAMW gets the potent SD against their Mia D.

Final Score? Injuries? Can RC's C. Palmer carry the whole team on his back? stay tuned.....:p

After Tom Brady, Marvin Harrison & Jay Feely have all had massive days, Burninators haven't even been slightly walloped.

Nope

With 2 more games this weekend, 3 of the games look over, with my wombats still a slight chance. Maybe.

Current scores:

#4 Sesn's Sipahi 86.92 v #5 Murmillos 55.18 + Alge Crumpler and Donte Stallworth

#1 Burninators 79.63 v #8 Bunnies of DeathRoadkill Rabbits 36.52 + Kevin Jones who looks like he just broke his arm + Roy Williams

#6 Whompus 51.63 + Marcus Pollard + Warrick Dunn v #3 Rogers' Collarbone 28.01 + Donald Driver + Green Bay

#2 Atoms 43.35 + Mike Vick v #7 Drop Wombats 37.54 + Samkon Gado + Atlanta.

My super trade backfired this week, I had to choose 1 of Gado, Ronnie Brown and Bettis to leave out, I chose Bettis over Brown as he's done nothing all year. It cost me 17+ points.

I'm definitely coming back for revenge next year though. Or starting an Aussie Rules fantasy league.

I got my butt kicked! Congratulations Whomp!

Your game is not over yet, Zapp. You still have Vick and Whomp still has the Falcons D. You still have a respectable chance.

I wonder if there are any fantasy leagues for Arena Football. I've been hooked on FF now.

What match-up are you looking at?

Whomp's team is BA's Massive Whompus. He's playing Rogers collarbone, and that's been decided, IMHO. Collarbone's got 33 points and no players to play monday night. Whompus has got 53 points and Warrick Dunn still to play.

So Whomp wins, I think... ;)

I think you're mistaken with the Springfield Atoms - Demented DropWombats match-up...

Thanks Zapp. You had some bad breaks with C. Martin going down, M.Moore dinged and C. Palmer throwing for 90? :crazyeye:

As Darkness pointed out my foe is yet to be determined with M. Vick and Atl. D still to go in the Springfield Atoms vs Demented Drop Wombats game. Should be interesting to see if ATL D can get in the end zone.

The other semi looks ugly with the powerhouse Burninators and white hot Sesn' Sipahi. Ikes.

Bah. I've been making that mistake all year, lol.

Womp... Womb... pretty close =oP

My quest for revenge fell woefully short due in large part to my own poor management, but also due to facing a superior opponent. It might have been close if I had started my bench players. They all went nuts.

Congratulations to the Burninininaitititinors.

#8 Bunnies of DeathRoadkill Rabbits

 That's good. I deserve it!

Sign me up for next year!

Gado going off has given me a chance, perfect game this arvo would be Brooks throwing a couple of touchdowns to Atlanta, and Dunn and Duckett doing a lot of eating up the clock. Makes for an interesting game anyway.
