When do you get the password you entered is incorrect? If it is on the screen where you join the game you shouldn't have anything at all(do you have a space or something?), if it is with your own civ you can just boot it to ai then reset the pw that way... It worked fine for me to login with no pw...

It's on the launch screen where you enter the IP address. The password field is blank. When I hit "Launch" I get the error message.

I'm befuddled.

So your computer is asking for a game password (which there has never been), not a civ password? Unless there is some stray blank space that it is reading as a password, I am equally befuddled ...

Me too, and I cleared the field with the delete key. Tonight I'll check my ini file for anything strange.

Well, of course right now I am just getting a connection time out ... does that mean I am getting past the password issue, or does the game need to be up for me to be able to see the password problem?

I got in fine also, but for some reason I had trouble getting into my civ at first.

I suggest Classical Hero take over the civ.
